Obstructive apnea increases with age and body weight. Men suffering with diabetes and doing smoking suffer from obstructive apnea.
2) Central Apnea This kind of sleeping apnea is also called Cheyne Stokes respiration disorder. This apnea arises due to imbalance of respiratory system during sleep. It can prove to be a severe one as one has to struggle for breathing during this kind of apnea. During central apnea there is lack of oxygen in the body. Deficiency of oxygen can cause heart problems.
3) Complex Apnea This kind of apnea is the combination of two previously listed apneas called as obstructive and central apnea. In this kind of apnea central apnea arises after occurrence of obstructive sleep apnea. Treatment of sleeping apnea: Sleeping apnea can be easily cured by making changes in lifestyle.
