I want to know your opinion of this theory that i have watched in youtube . The theory focus in the darkness of sora. In the world of kh there are only 7 pure light, the rest have darkness inside. For example, riku can control his darkness but sora can´t. since kh1,  when sora converted in a heartless, his darkness was growing. In kh2 his darkness was enough strong to have a form and in kh3 we see now that his rage form can use the keyblade but in all the cases sora can not control darkness. this makes more sense when MOM says in “x back over” the fake light. Could it be that the next games of kh will focus in the training of sora using the darkness before the final war?  please watch the links to understand better

SO SORRY FOR THE LATE REPLY SERGIO!!! Thank you very much for waiting! Keep in mind that I could very well be wrong, and that what I’m about to say is really all opinions, and thus I COMPLETELY understand if you disagree with me.

While I do agree that Sora certainly has darkness he can’t control yet, I also think that the reason Sora has anti-form and rage-form is particularly because he was once a Heartless who got his humanity restored. Other wise, anyone with darkness would have some semblance of a form change like that, including someone like Xehanort or Riku. Or, it would be flipped, where instead of anti/rage form, Sora would instead be similar to Riku’s Dark Form, or Anti-Aqua. I believe Sora’s anti/rage form is unique not because he has more darkness within himself then those around him, but rather because he was once a Heartless who was able to regain himself.

But I also think, that if there is to be a Hero of Light and a Hero of Darkness in KH (hinted by the Kingdom Key and the Kingdom Key D, as well as Chain of Memories) it would be Sora (Hero of Light) and Riku (Hero of Darkness). Riku yes, has developed a resistance to darkness, as stated by Young Xehanort in DDD. However, even so, Riku still can use the power of darkness, like when he consumes his Spirits for their powers, or in KH3 when we’re fighting Anti-Aqua as him. It wouldn’t surprise me personally if the final battle of Kingdom Hearts rests on the idea of the Hero of Light and the Hero of Darkness working together to create the balance that both Xehanort and the Master of Masters seek.

When it comes to Xigbar mentioning “the power [Sora] is given”, I personally think it may have something to do with Sora’s ability to connect with hearts around him. I think this “power”, the Power of Waking, and the Station of Awakening are all connected, and that it explains why Sora could always go to the Station of Awakening, ever since his heart was first created and found its way to Ventus in the beginning of Birth by Sleep. I think this idea is hinted in writing with various dialogue, like by Yen Sid in KH2 saying the key that connects them all is Sora, or how Ansem the Wise says in DDD that Sora has a heart that’s able to see the good before the bad, like children are able to. But like I said, that’s just what I think at the moment. I could very well change my opinion in the future if given new information.

This is a test to see how it works, I wanted to share my observations by beginning by some foreshadowing I saw in the end of dream drop distance, during the last part of Sora’s gameplay, at the end of his dream, he sees Aqua (on the destiny islands), even if he doesn’t seem to remember who she is, and right after she dissapears, and while Sora is asking himself what’s happening, further instead of Aqua we can see Ansem the seeker of darkness (I have a time code who show the moment here https://youtu.be/0Ik7gEB110s?t=3868) and Sora doesn’t have time to get what’s happening

but then I realized, in kh3, Ansem the seeker of darkness is the one who corrupts Aqua in the dark world, was that a foreshadowing?

Also before that Sora is trying to follow Riku and Kairi but can’t make it, he’s too slow, he want’s to follow them but he can’t, that made me think about the moment in kh3 when the demon tide almost kills everyone, but Sora can’t do anything when he sees that happening

So, because DDD was in 2012, I’m not quite sure if Nomura knew he wanted Aqua to be corrupted at that point. Yes by 2012, Nomura’s idea for a Fragmentary Passage existed since BbSFM had a teaser for it before it got shelved until 0.2. But even then, BbSFM didn’t have a foreshadowing of Aqua being corrupted herself. But still, I wouldn’t mind interpreting it this way anyway, it’s a cool coincidence! I will say, that it may be talking about the fact for Sora’s entire childhood of being on Destiny Islands, Ansem the Seeker of Darkness was there. Since in KH3, Dark Riku confirmed that Ansem SoD stayed on Destiny Islands after talking to Young Xehanort. 

Same with Sora reaching out for Riku and Kairi. Nomura is really good at making coincidences look purposeful, to the point where I almost don’t care if they’re coincidences or not. Nomura just really has this consistency without he does things, that there are so many parallels in KH, purposeful or not, and it really ties the whole series together, man. UGH i love it!

What do you think about Namine? Namine is the nobody of Kairi. But there are two reasons that it doesn´t fix. 1 a pure light can not create a nobody and 2 if the reason is that the heart of kairi was in sora that could explain it but Namine has blond hair. Neither kairi and sora have that colour. Namine has the power of changing/recovering the memory. Maybe there are 7 pure hearts because one heart divided in seven parts. And the keyblade of heart of kh1 was tool let free the 7 parts and join again. As Sora did in kh3 remind with kairi´s heart. Namine has the power of recovering the memory but not in Sora, Namine should have used herself. Maybe that was part of the mission of Ava, divide her heart in 7 to return in the future.But the heart of kairi was in Sora and Namine couldn´t use her power to recover her memory although she doesn´t know that she has to do it. That is the reason that Kairi in kh3  in her coat has animal ears like Ava.

I DO think that Nomura could elaborate on Namine’s appearance and power more in the future, as even though many fans are satisfied with the conclusion that Namine’s appearance was effected by Ventus ( similar to but in a lesser extent to that of Roxas’s appearance also being effected by Ventus, or even Vanitas’ appearance being effected by Sora ) but I will admit that is a fan conclusion, and not at all confirmed in the games themselves. So I can see her appearance and abilities being elaborated on further, similar to how the lab from World Terminus was elaborated on in KHUX. However, even though I think Nomura could answer questions about Namine, I’m not ready to say that Ava herself is the answer to this. I need more hard evidence to suggest the idea that she split her heart to begin with, and how that would connect to Kairi and Namine. The little animal ears of Kairi isn’t a big deal to me at all, for now I genuinely believe that is just a character design choice. But that’s just me, personally haha!
