Complicated Animals Release Video “Times Like These”
Brazilian American duo Complicated Animals have released the video for their new cover of “Times Like These” by Foo Fighters. Vocalist Monica da Silva and guitarist Chad Alger gravitated to the track because the lyrics are in line with the events of this year.
Miami based artist Karla Caprali created the video using a traditional animation technique, drawing each frame by hand. She helped to realize the duo’s vision, by featuring some of this year’s major world happenings.
Monica and Chad had this to say about their new video. “From a deadly pandemic to a global movement for racial justice, 2020 has experienced its fair share of world-shifting events. This year sure has been different, but it has also been inspiring. We have seen people rise up and come together. We believe that these are the times that shape us. The most important thing we can do right now is to be there for each other, and lift each other up. The world needs more of that.”
