Frozen Melodies; A great escape l Roderich & Ivan
“Thank you for putting me in a private cell, comrade. It makes my stay here feel much more comfortable.” Ivan commented to the man, barely a teenager really, guiding him along the rows of dark cellars.
“What do you mean ‘thank you’?” the other asked skeptically.
“Well, when alone it gives me more time to think of everyone’s here’s eminent demise” Ivan said simply, without the slightest resemblance of holding anything back.
The man who had been his guard thought over what Ivan had said and decided to make a rash decision. “You know what? Leaving you alone is a bad idea. You’ll probably plan some way to take over or something. You’re getting a cell mate.”
“Oh why that’s no fun” Ivan fake pouted, so innocent and childlike it was disturbing.
With that comment, the teen threw the Ivan into the cold, hard cell and locked the door.
“And you better get along with him because you two will be spending a long time together. Good luck to both of you, creeps.”
Then the teen walked away, presumably to brag to his boss that he had managed to catch the elusive Ice prince, and when he rounded the corner Ivan began his real plan.
He brushed his cuffed arms, still trapped behind his back, along the floor. After a few tries he managed to catch onto something and slid his gloves down. The second that the silver metal touched Ivan’s bare skin, it froze, and all Ivan had to do was lightly tap it against the floor. It shattered into pieces, the fragments spreading all around and skidding to all parts of the room and to the other mans feet.
Ivan then stood up, composed himself and faced the man also in the cell with him. The new man in his little business. He needed a favor from him, and that is unlikely to happen if the half siren he had heard so much about was trapped in a cell.
With his violet eyes glinting and his deadly smile and aura oozing, creating a presence of its own, seemingly suffocating the room; Ivan said two words with true genuine sweetness of the most sickening kind.
