Yet another of Perth’s diverse Bombyliidae - you’d think they’d run out of burrowing bees and wasps to parasitise, but apparently not.
Comptosia tendens, a large Bee-fly found in SW Australia. Much better photos then my one back at #22, even if that second photo is wildly distorted by the scanning speed as it took off.
