It's almost Valentine's Day so ask me awkward questions? :D
1. Who was your first kiss and what was it like?
It was with one of my fellow students it was quick and secret and it did not go any further. The experience was exhilarating but also scary but I felt that I needed that to understand such matters more or remain rather naïve.
2. Are you in a relationship? If so, are you happy?
Yes, I have partner back home and we are happy together.
3. Do you have a crush?
No, at least not currently
4. Who is your crush?
I do not have one, at least right now.
5. Are you a virgin?
No, I am not a virgin.
6. What do you think of Valentine's Day?
A commercial holiday in the west promoted to sell cheap trinkets. Chilseok is a far superior holiday.
7. Who is your Valentine?
I have never celebrated Valentine’s Day so I have never had a Valentine. Nor would I want to if any romantic relationship were to take place between another and myself it would not need such an occasion.
8. Have you ever asked anyone out?
Yes, I have and it ended with a nice dinner but little else.
9. Who is your celebrity crush?
I have had one on an actor but most would not have heard of them as they are from my country.
10. Has anyone ever asked you out and you turned them down?
Yes, that has certainly happened before
11. Do you think anyone has a crush on you right now?
I am sure that there are but it is not something that I would have taken notice of.
12. What is your favorite thing to do on Valentine's Day?
Prepare for the Day of the Shining Star festival, which has far greater importance than Valentine’s
13. What's the best Valentine's Day that you've had so far?
The day when I watched the full performance of the acrobatics at the Day of the Shining Star festival and the leader was in the audience not far away, very humbling moment.
14. What's your idea of a perfect date?
I would say that it would be viewing a performance of revolutionary opera or cinema followed by quite meal in a restaurant. All without any open signs of romantic affection but instead conversation.
15. How do you know when you're in love?
When the person means as much or almost as much to you as you family and that you can overlook their flaws or that those flaws would not means as much to you.
16. Have you ever loved someone on a romantic level?
Yes of course I would never have been in a relationship with someone if there were not some romance involved.
17. Do you prefer more or less clingy relationships?
I am not sure if clingy would be the right word but I think that loyalty is important. A man should be loyal to his partner any betrayal of that relationship is really as bad as betraying the centre party itself. How could you trust a man not to turn traitor if he can’t even stay true to their partner. I am not sure if this is clingy it may be on some subjects that I am entirely clingy. The subject of loyalty, for example, whether it be a man to a woman or our citizens to our party I'm could be said to be very ‘clingy’!
18. Do you feel like you're loved on an everyday basis?
Yes, by the party and the leaders who do everything they can to provide for the people.
19. Are you usually the first person to make a move.
I would like to think so but I am usually so concentrated on my work that I do not get to.
20. Have you ever asked someone out and they turned you down?
Yes, but that was a long time ago.
21. Do you feel like you're the dumpee or dumper most of the time?
That depends I think that I can put certain men off with my commitment to my work above all and with my high expectations of them. That is ok I would not want to be with anyone who cannot meet such standards. While at the same time I would not want to keep someone who would want to tie me down from my work with domestic life.
22. What's your "type"?
Someone who has strong moral principles is strong and commits wholly to the cause of Korean socialism and the party, so an upright honest man who works hard.
23. What are some of your favorite physical characteristics for your crush to have?
I look for man who is strong built; tall, chiselled but also gives the air of intellectual strength.
24. Are you a hopeless romantic?
No, I do not put my mind such issues as love and romance. My career and service to the state is my main focus in life.
25. Do you think that you're a good kisser?
I am not sure I don’t think that I have anyone I can compare myself with.
26. What's the farthest that you've ever gone?
… I have had sex if that is what you mean
27. Have you ever had a secret admirer?
Yes I believe my sisters have told me before that they have heard of some individuals who had taken a liking to me.
28. Have you ever been someone's secret admirer?
Yes, but I didn’t say anything and let it pass. I hope that my feelings for him wasn’t too evident but I don’t think anyone noticed so I am sure it wasn’t
29. Do you have romantic fantasies? If so, what are they like and who is in them?
Yes, I have before but not often; it’s not good to be distracted by such things. Though when they do come they usually involves an idealised romantic encounter in a scenic such as a forest or a lakeshore or an aquatic location such as a shower or decorative bathhouse.
30. What's something that always turns you on?
Being on top during sex, I like the idea of being the one in control when it comes to lovemaking and so the idea of being the one who is ‘taking in helm’ is always appealing and a turn on.
