Also up for grabs: my superheroine comic collection (70’s-80’s stuff), random Radio Comix books and various indie comics! My house is super small, and I am still selling off thirty years’ worth of collectibles to raise money for ongoing back taxes & various upcoming large expenses, so every little bit helps. Hello, you wonderful followers! All 511 of you! We're still counting down to August, but we've got a few key details we'd like to share with you today!

New Event: Equestria Reads 2014

Are you a frequent reader of fan fiction dedicated to My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic? Do you have an outgoing personality and a gift of debate? Is there a story you feel is overlooked but should be read by the Brony community (if not everyone)? You could have a chance to bring that story to light and prove it’s worth to the Bronies of BronyCAN. Host Random Richards is currently accepting applications for 5 readers brave enough to step up to the podium and prove the worth of their favorite fan fiction.

We're looking for an event organizer for our CCG Tournament!

FINAL REMINDERS: Hotel, Panel Submissions, and Con Book Ads

Happy August, everypony! We're less than a month to go before con, but we have some important details you need to know about for the upcoming weekend. Save these dates!

Panel submissions close August 2. If you'd like to host a panel in Richmond, this is your last chance to get it in. Please click here to submit your panel idea!

You have until August 3 to book your room at the Executive Airport Plaza Hotel using the special code "BRONYCAN". From this point onward, rates will be lower, but you will not be eligible to receive a special brony gift basket nor an entry into our hotel contest. Click here to book now while the code still works!

Ad space for the con book closes on August 4. You have until 11:59 PM PST to submit both payment and ad or it will not be added to the book. For sizes and where to submit, please click here.
