Love how members of the storygroup like Matt Martin act like no one will know who they are and just hang out around the con, and I wind up walking past them in the hall, almost knock into them because hello massive klutz here, and then I have to keep myself from awkwardly addressing them by name as if I actually know them.

I don’t feel qualified enough to answer this question in full since I’m only picking up bits and pieces of gossip second- and third-hand because I have carefully curated my dash to be full of positive people and because I don’t really Fandom on Twitter (since I use it for work a bunch). Here’s a link to an ask that I think probably covers it though. There was apparently an organized effort to leave Misha out of questions and just generally be nasty to and about him by a very small number of The Usual Suspects. @intelligentshipper Had a great post about J2 tearing down one of them as she second guesses their interpretation of a Sam n Dean hug.
The positive thing amidst all the disappointment was that J2 brought out all the love for the full cast and especially for Misha, really presenting the three of them as an inseparable team. If people are so far gone that they can’t see that in trying to hurt Misha–who J2 adore and admire–they are hurting these two men who they claim to love then they are past saving and definitely past reason. I think most of us are trying to follow their example and not let a very small group of very rotten apples spoil everything.
Personally, I think it sounds like the con was poorly run from several different angles and that it would be fair for anyone who paid to write and express grievances in a firm but polite way just to go on record. Usually this con is wonderful and I think perhaps it could be that way again.

Going to otakuthon as usual but as usual, almost all the panels I want to go are either:
1) Friday during my work hours
2) All happening at the same time.
Talk about bad luck, plus the only ffxv related panel is at the same time of a persona panel... what to do?
