Genuinely love the personality contrast between Chris Farley-era Shrek and Fiona compared to their final versions.

Farley's Shrek was much kinder and more sensitive, while Fiona was more rude and hot-tempered.

Ahhh same same same!!

Seeing the contrast between what was created for Farley’s Shrek and what we have now is so wild to me cause it’s so different (although, we do have Shrek’s knight aspirations coming through in the musical, which I LOVE!!)

Looking through concept art for Farley’s Shrek and Garofalo’s Fiona, it almost looks like Fiona was supposed to have the Disney princess appearance but actually have the spoiled rich girl energy (that’s just my take, though).

I would also love to see how a kind/sensitive Shrek would play out on screen with Donkey since he was supposed to be a character still. I almost think they would be complete besties instead of Shrek having to be like 🙄 all the time.
