Namaste, all! In the past month, I've been in a transition from a dim state of mind. For those who don't know me personally, I am an artist, a spiritually driven, creative being in a humans body, and for a long time, I felt that I always had to prove something with everything I did. I felt trapped in my own opinions, sometimes admittedly afraid to think outside of the box and in turn, not taking my own advice. But that is no longer the case! I have broken through the wall that has been a creative barrier and emotional road-block to vast potential. Over this time, I have understood the concept of purpose. We come into this world with a specific, personal destiny. Our job in this lifetime is not to shape ourselves into some ideal we imagine we ought to be, but to find out who we already are and become it. We cannot look to others to validate our efforts. We must do our work for its own sake, not for fortune or attention or applause. In the end, we become warriors. Like all warriors, over time, we acquire modesty and humility. Some of us may conduct ourselves flamboyantly in public but in our own time, we are chaste and humble. We acquired an understanding of ourselves and as a result, we have continued to grow from within, not from building the out layers of ourselves. Creative work is not a selfish act or a bid for attention. It's a gift to the world and every being in it. Similarly, self-love is the same way. You must continue to look within to unleash who you truly are, try to tend to that wall that blocks you from your self. I know that I often say you are not alone, but in certain situations, there comes a time where you can not depend on others to help you, especially with something of this magnitude. If you ever feel that it is too overwhelming, take a deep breath, and remember that you have already come such a far way. You are all warriors and I assure you that you will succeed. As always, keep on loving yourself, be kind to one another and let's continue on this journey, together. 😌 ✌ 💕 #thejourneycontinues #spiritualtransitions #spiritualgrowth #mentalbarriers #conceptofpurpose #selfprogression #selflove #humility #modesty #personaldestiny #toronto
