The Regensburger Program, "Be Free and Don't Be Alone" is a solidarity project of active support of the Kulturamt Regensburg and the Theater Regensburg for local artists. Mittelbayerische Zeitung acts as a cooperation partner and supports the project medially. For two months (May 5 to July 5, 2020) we featured an artist of the day on the digital stage every day. Ann-Kathrin Müller is a visual artist and illustrator specializing in naturalistic painting and conceptual drawing. These creative poles are connected by striving to explore a particular idea or situation beyond its surface. She is fascinated by the biological and symbolic structures of the garden, enjoys working with poets and musicians, and is currently preparing for her practice-based doctorate (fine arts). Until 2016 she studied visual arts, philosophy and media studies at the University of Regensburg. She then completed her Master of Fine Arts at Edinburgh College of Art. Last year she was shortlisted for the Regensburg Art Prize and has already exhibited her work in the UK, Spain and Germany.
