Nearly a full month Mikhaila’s been here, and she finds herself no closer to understanding what’s happening here than she was at the very beginning. She’s made connections, allies, she’s found Morgan (and still she doesn’t know how to feel- overjoyed, yes, but conflicted still, discomfort churning in her gut whenever she thinks about them and they’re not in sight- they are typhon in all but mind-)... but there is no information on what this place is, or why it is, she’s found no way to access the main databases and figure out how to be sent home...
It’s frustrating.
Still, there are mysteries aplenty she can figure out. Such as, she thinks as she looks up from where she sits on a low stone wall, who in the world wears full-body stone armor, carved and sculpted to look more like a body proper.
In a manner of speaking. Are there holes in her chest?
Only one way to find out.
She pushes herself off the low wall and approaches. She’s so very tall, and her mask.... face? Is that just her face?... is sculpted with a proud nose, full lips, a sharp delineation of cheekbones down to chin. If that’s just her face, and this is not her armor but her body, then she is a very handsome being.
(It speaks to how much this place has changed her mind in her nearly-a-month here, that she’s even considering that possibility on her own.)
“Good evening,” she says, light, pleasant. “I was wondering if I might walk with you a while. You seem like an interesting sort, and I’m... Well. There’s precious little else to do around here, other than talk to people, right?”
