[skin]: obviously colour, but also if they're inclined to run hot or cold, do they have any blemishes or unusual markings, are they inclined to blush, are they freckled, do they tan, what does their skin feel like, etc.
he’s got kind of light brown skin (like a four, five, or six on this scale) given his mixed race, a little bit tougher than you’d expect it to be. a lot of callouses on his hands and feet (he works almost all day every day and often walks around barefoot or without socks), and a few scars. the most noticeable for him are the scar on the right side of his face by his eye (subsequently his vision isn’t the best in that eye) which origins remain hidden to himself and himself alone, and a large gash scar on his right breast. he has a few cigarette burns along his upper torso and arms and soon to be two bullet wounds. as for blushing? yeah, he can blush pretty easy, but he hates doing so and often pretends he’s not. he also just gets a hot face even though he’s not blushing. no freckles and he can tan, but since he doesn’t go outside a lot, he doesn’t get the opportunity to tan too often.
[build]: are they skinny and petite or do they resemble a body builder, are they tall or short or average height, are they lean and wiry, are they overweight, are all of their features proportionate, etc.
he’s short, for one. only 5′2, this is yet another think he finds dumb and flawed about himself as if there aren’t enough of those things already. he’s skinny, too, even though i’m really bad at drawing him skinny he definitely is. weak, almost no musculature whatsoever and easily able to be shoved around and hurt. he gets hurt a lot. his shoulders are a little too broad and he’s missing his right leg (prosthetics in the design process right now).
