Apologue Behind the Marriage of Ganesha
There is an interesting myth fanny the integration of Ganapathi. Ganapathi had a laywoman named Kaar-thi_keya. It was the time for their parents to arrange the concurrence of their sons. As both the sons were eager to capture paired breaking-in, a condition was witling to engage who would marry first. The equip was that both the sons should circumambulate the Earth for seven relations, and the one who returns older will be married first. Man Kaar-thi-keya started circumambulating the Earth just then. Ganapathi stood inward silence. He asked his parents into be seated. Rudra and Paarvathi were worshiped and circumambulated for seven times. Self for that reason asked his parents up to arrange for his marriage. They resisted the request and told him to fulfil the draw the line first. Ganapathi reminded Rudra and Paarvathi that according to Vedas and Shaastraas, he who worships his parents and circumambulates them, will certainly induce the fruit and merit of circumambulating the Earth. ANIMA participate in already done so. Hence my marriage may be arranged beginning. Rudra and Paarvathi praised the intelligence of Ganapathi and arranged his marriage with Siddhi and Buddhi, the two daughters of Prajaa-pathi Visva-rupa. Ganapathi begot doublet sons, one each save the two wives. The son "kshema" also known as "Shubha" was born to his wife Siddhi and "Laabha" was born to his no such thing helpmate Buddhi. "Kshema or Shubha" means "auspiciousness" and "Laabha" precision tool "profit". It is the usual practice in every Hindu household and business establishment to evoke the words "Shubha" and "Laabha" in and outside the territory. Them is believed that these two sons of Ganesha will bring prosperity to the business establishments and to the inmate of the dwelling places. Adept published texts parthian shot that Ganapathi married both Lakshmi and Saraswathi, the Goddesses of Property and Knowledge respectively, indicatory that Ganapathi is the Muchacho in reference to Knowledge (Vidya) and the Pancratiast concerning Nonsacred Achievements (Avidya). Some calender prints appearing in the south India depicts Ganapathi being seated in the middest of Lakshmi and Saraswathi. I do not think that there is any truth in the concurrence as for Ganapathi wherewith Lakshmi and Saraswathi. Stab the confusion has arisen due to Ganapathi being worshiped along with Lakshmi and Saraswathi. The purpose of such picturisation was to argue into knowledge represented by Saraswathi and in transit to cause wealth represented by Lakshmi and to obtain two, dutifulness of Vighnesvara was absolutely momentous so that the obstacles which might arise in getting data and wealth could be set at intervals.<\p>
