This talk is really good... I love talks that focus on the atonement and on Christ. This kind of talk is what I’ve needed, as someone who always feels inadequate and has at times been convinced that God cannot love me because of the mistakes I have made and continue to make.

I like that this talk is focusing on the Atonement and on Christ. It seems to be focusing on the pains we feel in life not caused by sin, which is something we don’t talk as much about. Thank you, Elder Oaks!

I am so ready for a nap right now. Conference is great an all, but... it is also really long.

Sometimes I worry that I’m like Laman and Lemuel. I’ve seen miracles and I’ve felt the Spirit. Yet I still doubt a lot. I still make the same mistakes over and over again, just like they did.

Why are all the talks in English this time? I thought for sure the people whose first language isn’t English would give their talk in their first language.

Elder Foster’s talk seems like the kind of talk my parents need to hear. I know that me struggling with depression and anxiety has been hard on them. They’ve felt like they aren’t doing enough. Hopefully this talk will give them some comfort.

Okay, from what I’ve heard and paid attention to, I have mixed feelings about this talk. I’m glad that a gay man is being shown in a very positive light, but I wish that the story was more clear. It also gives off the vibe of homosexuality as such a burden. I think this talk overall is a step in the right direction--especially the emphasis on the gay man’s worthiness and how his sexual orientation was not expected to change--but it is still not as clearly written as I personally would like.
