This year has been rough for me, to the point where I almost became okay with losing myself. Letting myself fall back into patterns that I worked so hard to break, lack of confidence, faking each day, the list goes on. This shoot, thanks to my amazing friend DJ, made me see myself. Made me remember who I’ve become and who I’m striving to be. Made me remember that I am beautiful even when I say I’m having a bad hair day. Reminded me that it’s okay, to let myself be free, to just be. Some days are going to be harder than most, but don’t be too hard on yourself. You are where you are meant to be, and going where you are supposed to
