Hi so today in school we were talking about bullying and it got me thinking...I think my step-brother used to be sort of abusive to me. I remember a time when he chased me around the house yelling at me for no reason, and he only stopped when I hid in my mom's bathroom crying... He's better now, but it would make sense that I get sort of nervous whenever he comes over.
Hi Anon,
I'm glad to hear that things have improved, but if you're still feeling upset or nervous around him, perhaps this is something you can confront him about. You can let him know that his past behaviors hurt you, and you'd like an explanation/apology/etc. so you can feel safer and move on. Maybe talking to him about it will lift the stress of it off your shoulders.
