Fun fact about the magical world in America:

Following a huge government scandal in which some idiot got caught using the Confundus Charm to affect the vote in congress, the spell was declared America’s first ever Unforgivable Charm. Its not like this was a rare occurrence in congress though, this guy just made it so stupidly obvious what he had done that there was no way to cover it up.
