Hi I’m a bi boy n I’m 19, I only recently came out to...well to myself really. I was confused for a couple years bc honestly I had no frame of reference for what I was feeling. I thought my small attraction to men wasn’t enough for me to say I was bi. I had dealt with what I now realize was compulsory heterosexuality my whole life. But anyway, it’s because of posts from blogs like yours that I had the courage to talk to my friend who helped me realize I’m bisexual. Thank you from a now proud bi.

Comp het does not affect men because it is about misogyny, not homophobia. Comp het is a social system of rewards and punishments women are subjected to their entire lives that conditions them to be attracted to men, even if they don’t want to be/aren’t, so you can’t really say that you have experienced comp het, because you are not a woman. I am sorry if the meaning got lost in translation amongst one of my posts, but I have only ever talked about it to women before on my blog. However, I am really glad that some of my posts helped! In the words of Captain Raymond Holt- Every time someone steps up and says who they are, the world becomes a better, more interesting place. You should be very proud of yourself!
