@sunflowers-and-diamonds Ryan was in no way a sore loser, he frankly didn’t care much for the Yule King thing. Either way, that didn’t mean loosing didn’t feel bad. However that meant that he could just go congratulate the winners. It meant that he didn’t have to deal with his cousins fake approval, the students trying to talk to him that he didn't know, congratulations from teachers who only cared because of appearances. So yes, congratulating the winners were more for a , congratulations on taking the burden off of him in some form or another. So why not go to the most approachable one first. He slowly inched to the girl, trying to put on his most friendly face, even if he was starting to get closerphobic. “Nice to meet you Miss Patillo, I am Ryan Haywood, congratulations on winning princess.”
