Conical burner, Dorris, California, 2014.
A few kms south of my usual southern limit for this blog, but the burner is worth attention, probably should be a historical site. When I was a child these burners were ubiquitous in the forested parts of the PNW. Now none remain in use, as far as I am aware, and few still stand.
