Yay for Clay! Such a wonderful real art medium, perfect natural material for kids of all ages from around 1 years. Art for young kids can often be set up purely about flat paper based work, but we also love to build spatial confidence in 3D sculpting and 2D relief work through mark making tools, to scratch and pull the surface, as well as exploring blocks of clay with both hands, feet, for toddlers. Get it wet with a spray bottle and a delightful squelchy sensory material. Combine with sticks, small figurines, wooden pieces, build sculptures , enact daily routines and tell stories. Free play with clay yesterday with 6 & 7 year olds, we found that the kids loved to make small vessels, shape a landscape for example…it starts with poking, rolling and turns into wherever their imagination can take them! 🍁🌟 #kreativkinder #childledart . . . #lebenmitkindern #entdeckenkunst #littleberlin #kinderkunst #kinderspiel #berlinart #kunstberlin #littleartlab #littleart #littleartists #berlinmitkind #kleinkinder #littleartberlin #prenzlauerberg #kunstzusammen #connectwithart #berlinkids #senefelderplatz #artplay #reggioinspired #childhoodunplugged #artplay #littleartberlin #kinderkunstkurs #kinderkunstwerkstatt #malortberlin #childrensartstudio #berlinstagram #kinderkunstworkshop #creativityletloose #slowberlin (at Senefelderplatz)
