"So . . . . Let me get this straight." Hanna asked slowly and clearly confused. "I can do whatever I want to you . . . . for five minutes?"
Conner's blond sharp eyebrows knitted together and the corners of his lips pulled up in a ghost of a smirk. "No." He chuckled with a voice that was smooth and strong like the Burbon he so enjoyed to dring after dinner. "You can't kill me,” he said “and you can't escape." His smirk grew. “But other than that . . . I’m all yours.”
Her green eyes narrowed. “Why?” She asked him skeptically. “What do you get out of this?”
He laughed. “Maybe because I want to be kind for a change?” He offered with a cheeky smirk. “Or maybe because I’m . . . curious.”
“Curious?” She growled.
Conner nodded. “In what you’ll do to me.” He purred. “You see . . . from where i’m standing you have two options. You can either do as your suposed to do and please me . . . or . . . you can attack me.” His smirk grew.
Her skin prickled and she rolled her eyes. If her powers weren’t be supressed she would have started glowing. “How considerate of you.” She growled. “Truly.”
“Your time starts now." He growled as he looked down to his watch.
‘Attack him!’. Her instincts screamed at her. “Fuck his rules! Knock him out and get out of here!’
She launched herself at him and he swiftly maneuvered around her, dodging her attack with a quick side step and sending her sprawling to her bedroom floor with a hard thud.
He laughed. “I see you’ve chosen the later . . . lets see what you got.”
Her face flushed and she tried again. She pushed herself off the floor and tore off, hauling the full momentum of her body at him, and pulling back her fist for a mean right hook . . .only to have him dodged the damn attack all over again.
"Stop moving!" She screamed. "Stop moving and just let me hit you!"
To her suprise Connor stilled and a new attack of Hanna’s connected with his cheek. The impact of the attack snapped his face to the side and he fell backwards.
Hanna didn’t waste any time. With an outraged cry she jumped on him, straddled his waist, and punched him over and over and over again in the face. Relentless and precise blows rained down upon the Alpha and knuckles connected with sharp cheekbones, splitting flesh and snapping the cartilege of his nose. He cried out in agony as blood flew and splattered both of their faces.
"Why!?" She screamed. "Why did you do it!? Why did you attack my family?!" She inhaled a shaky furiouse breath and grabbed the front of his shirt, before she pulled him upright and struggled with his weight. "We were happy!” She screamed. “We were happy and--and we weren’t bothering you! Why couldn't you just . . . left us alone!?"
She delivered another mean right hook and released her hold on his shirt, allowing him to fall backwards and hit the floor. His lip was cracked and so was the skin above his left cheek bone. Hes left eye was red from where she had socked him, and his nose, which was broken and bent, had blood running down it.
Tears gathered in her eyes, large ones that threaten to spill with a simple blink, and eventually did. They streamed down her full freakled face to her chin where they collected and fell freely onto Conner’s. With a final pained scream, she slamed both fists down on his chest and in doing so her face crumpled and a sob escaped past her lips.
“Why?!” She sobbed. “Why would you do that to them?! Th-they were just kids!”
Conner didn’t move. He laied silently underneath Hanna and watched her through his pain and his one swollen eye as she fell apart. He’d never seen this part of Hannah before and though he knew it existed, he didn't expect to see it this soon into their relationship.
"They were kids!" She she shrieked as she crumpled and doubled forward. Her hair draped across his broad chest, soft blond curls that smelled of strawberry shampoo. Her slender fingers grasped at his blood splattered dress shirt and her arms trembled. “They were just kids.” She cried. “Just . . . kids . . . “
Conner remained frozed under her for a long while before he sat upright and wraped is arms around her. He pulled her into his body and cuped the back of her head with his hand.
Hanna frozed in a mixture of horror and disgust -- the same way one would freeze if they were suddenly hugged by a human sized spider.
"I'm sorry." He said genuinely and with sincerity. "I'm sorry about your friends." His arms were strong and his embrace warm and enticing -- the perfect trap for someone who was longing for a bit of warmth. After all that she had been through in the past few days . . . she needed a hug like this.
She wasn’t proud of herself but she fell into him and rested her forehead agains his clavical.
"Then please Conner . . . save them." She begs. "Please. I’ll do whatever you want, just . . . save them. Please."
Conner sighed and slowly grabed Hanna by her shoulders. He pushed her back so that she's sitting flat on his legs and so his hazel eyes were peering down into her pleading green ones. He moved his hand to her face, which he cupped gently, and to his suprise she pressed her round cheek into it with a smallest wimper.
"No." He said. “But nice try.”
