Daily Music Recs 2023: Day #17

AAA - 愛してるのに、愛せない (Aishiteru no ni, Aisenai // I Love You, But I Can’t Love You)

This song singlehandedly dragged me back into J-Pop after a 15-year hiatus, and I’m so happy that I got to discover AAA as a result. I really like some of their songs, so you’ll probably be seeing a lot of them in the next few weeks.

In my opinion,  愛してるのに、愛せない is AAA’s best song. It’s decently popular, but I think it’s a shame that it isn’t even more popular.

Also, Nissy’s part in the bridge deserves an award all by itself.
