Captain Bat of the S.S Ship Everything
Attention, this is your Captain speaking, bringing you a very important message. The following will likely be a nonsensical rambling ship post that you might not understand if you haven’t seen A Madea’s Christmas. Don’t ask me why I started shipping this. Special shout-out to @wincestismyguiltypleasure for listening to me ramble about it last night.
The participants in this ship are: Eric Lively and Chad Michael Murray. You probably know Chad, but Eric isn’t as well known. You’ll have to look him up, but he’s the brother of one Blake Lively. (Yes, THAT Blake Lively) Also, look up the synopsis of the movie, because I’m too lazy to do it for you.
For your visuals, I present photos of the two.
Conner (Eric Lively, top photo) is a good ol’boy that owns a farm and grows his own corn. He’s gentlemanly and passive to the point of being a pushover. Tanner (CMM) is his rival. He is also a good ol’ boy, a hard worker and he doesnt like people from out of town coming in and trying to change things. Let’s be real, he’s a bit of a dick, and he’s unapologetic about it. We learn later that Tanner used to beat Conner up in school and Conner would do nothing about it. Let’s consider this: Pretty boy Conner on his farm, checking out his corn, when Tanner sidles up, removes his cap, a shit eating grin on his face as he chomps his gum. “Whatcha doin there, boy?” He drawls, that sweet, slow Georgia accent coloring his words. “Pretty boy like you oughta be inside.” Conner blushes, toes the dirt with his boot. “Somebody’s gotta do it.” And it just so happens that they end up going inside Conner’s house, both of them grabbing beers out of the kitchen and taking long drinks before settling on the couch. Tanner eyes Conner from head to toe, letting his gaze linger as long as possible. Again, Conner squirms under the gaze. “Quit lookin’ at me like that, Tanner.” A smirk. “Why are you lookin’ at me like that anyway?” Sweat rolls down Conner’s neck and Tanner chuckles.
“Maybe I like what I see. Maybe I wanna see more.”
