Some differences aren't so subtle

Droog sent the alternate Slick the coordinates for the little jazz bar that was Crew owned. He didn't want him to feel overwhelmed in the new, er, rather alternate timeline, so the neutral ground of Crew territory seemed the best way to go. Of course Droog had been in a mood, and the weather decided then to pull out the cliché act of raining. But no matter. He was going to play his sax on the stage until the other Slick arrived. He got up on the stage when it was his turn and a smooth, relaxed tune rang out from the brass woodwind instrument, giving the smoke-filled, warm room an easy feel to it, adding to the already existing quaint, homey feeling air.
