Okay I said I was considering saying something controversial so here it is:

I don’t think the nomination for that guy is really deserved for this specific thing. Of all of the guests and episodes for SNL, they chose his and honestly I didn’t think it was that great. I also believe that in his category from his performance at SNL is it in no way measurable to what he is up against.

In addition, shouldn’t his fans want him to get a qualitative nomination for something he actually deserves something for later down the road? I know he definitely doesn’t qualify for Heated Rivalry, but he is okay enough imo that he will get nominated for something in the future. For me, this nomination in no way feels organic, and kind of like a “here damn” moment.

EDIT: More thoughts on this, but I also feel like his fans are almost gassing up his performances too much right now even though he’s just getting started and has room to improve?
