this is my garly piece so vv excited!
tw: injuries (nothing serious)
you were talking with natalie and holly as you all kept your eyes on your kids. you looked away for a second and in that second, your daughter, stella was on the ground, crying.
you rushed over to her, pulling her into a hug, trying to comfort her, "what is it? what's wrong?" she pointed to her knee and you saw the scrape.
"did you scrape your knee?" she nodded, still crying her eyes out.
"daddy," she whined.
"come on, let's go get that cleaned up." you tried to pick her up but she went limp.
"daddy!" she whined again.
you frantically looked around before you spotted conor practically sprinting over to you, "look, there he is." her head whipped around and she saw him running over.
"daddy!" she raised her arms and he picked her up, hugging her tight.
"come on, let's go clean that up." he carried her into the house and into one of the bathrooms. you got all the supplies out of the cabinet and conor sat on the toilet seat with stella in his lap.
she cried when you poured the alcohol on the wound to clean it, "it's okay, see? look at that! you're all done!" conor smiled, trying to get her to stop crying.
"now, what kind of bandaid do you want? hello kitty or princess?" you asked.
"princess!" she exclaimed.
"of course, i should've known." you slipped the bandaid on her knee.
"i play?" she asked.
"yeah, you can go play." conor set her on the ground and she was running out the door, back to play with her friends.
