So let me see if I understand this absolute turnip of a guy:
Angstrom Levy wanted to gain collective knowledge from his multiversal selves in order to make the world a better place.
He fucks himself over and completely shatters any chance of wearing any kind of head accessories because he didn't want his new world based on violence. So he pulls off the helmet and fries himself.
Decides to blame, legit, the one good Mark AND tries to kill him
Gets absolutely packed up like a suitcase, and needs saving.
Got a bbl dome surgery, and decides to get other Marks(all evil) to help him kill our Mark(good noodle) . He also got a couple of MK Kabal wanna be's and a bunch of anal beads to help out.
Still gets tapped, loses an arm, and his freedom to the technicians
And it's still invincibles fault
BUT
That cape went crazy and Conquest was as cool as I was told.
Conquest but it’s a romcom. Because of course I’m going to take the story involving a one-sided romance and make it into something stupid.
The backstory for this one changes a bit, as, rather than Hashara invading Ninjago, his father, Rashisa, is the one who invades Ninjago while Hashi is still a child. In the end he fails to take over the realm due to Wu, Garm, & the other EMs, but he still managed to take a lot of Ninjagoans prisoner before having to give them back.
And Cole & his parents were among those prisoners, Cole having been given to Hashara as a playmate. So of course, in true romcom fashion, these two children promise to marry each other when they get older. Thus, when Hashara is of age to take the throne, the first thing he does is set out to Ninjago in order to marry Cole.
But there are some problems. Problem #1:
“Well, we don’t really know each other that well, Hashi.” Cole said, running a hand through his hair. “Since we haven’t seen each other in so long. And so I think, for marriage to be on the table, we should spend some time as friends first, catching up and getting to know each other.” He smiled. “It’s so great to see you again.”
And so Hashara agrees to spend some time as friends, in the hopes that he and Cole will eventually come together as companions.
And problem #2? Hashara’s not the only one simping for Cole. Though Cole hasn’t realized it yet, Kai (and maybe others, I haven’t decided yet) is interested in him romantically. So it becomes a race to see what happens first—will Cole fall for Hashara, or will Kai work up the courage to confess?
tl;dr A terrible idea spawned from Conquest in which Colshara/HotBloodedshipping is actually possible
Man, what an evil character, but somehow Annette and ashe are siding with her! Even Catherine and cyril (so he wasn't dead!) are horrified, but obey nonetheless because they are evil and listen to an evil monster who eats roasted babies!
More seriously, Edel had something to tell us and as I guessed it wasn't about her involvement in Jeralt's death, nope, but somehow, Edel knew that Billy and Billy's mom (? Was the plot to kill Jeralt a way to determine if he was involved in the Sothis plot device?) were tied to the so-called goddess!
Which we can s rank in this route but plot isn't Edel's BE route's forte, I'm afraid.
And she was sure we were going to side with rhea but she was so surprised and so happy when Billy brainfarted!
It would have been touching if Edel didn't do the previous things we've seen her do in the last chapter., I. E. "we must absolutely kill King Dimitri"
We finally know what she hates Rhea : because Rhea is a dragon!
For humanity!
And nope, we're going to conveniently ignore that it is for the sake of humanity that this pointless war happened, that we're siding with evulz people turning real bona-fide humans into monsters :)
So, back to the plot, Edel cried after beheading Dimitri, when she called him a fool during the battle. But it's only when he's dead that Edel reveals that poor Dimitri lived a shit life and suffered through the tragedy of Duscur because of Nuncle Arundel, but not even once did she bother to explain this to him, of course :)
Well Dimitri, like any reasonable person, would have called Edel on her alliance with her nuncle, but again, BE route isn't about the plot or coherence.
Dimitri's map was hardcore though, with all those randoms turning into monsters and Dedue joining them :'(
Worse, they move just after their transformation!
Rhea under her new/old identity passed by, she was a pain to deal with and she came with her weird machines, but they seem pretty mechanical compared to the beasts but less advanced than the titanus (in French) we fought at Arianrhod against the sultry lady whose name I forgot (Cornelia?)
I think the Monica gang, through the sultry lady corrupted the Kingdom from within and gave them those gfdi gems, but I guess this is something we'll learn in the BL route.
Anyways to hammer how evil rhea is, Hubert and Edel note that she uses the goddess' name to cheer up her troops, but after the Arianrhod event where they omitted nuncle Arundel's involvement to put the blame on the church to motivate Caspar and Co, it only made me sigh.
Nuncle Arundel passes by in the intro of the last chapter, saying that he and Edel share the goal of eradicate Rhea, they exchange thinly veiled threats but then nothing.
Oh well, I'm sure the issue with the Monica gang is going to be resolved in a satisfying way, and not handwaved at all!
“My lord.” Solution greeted, manifesting her form into a bowing position.
Hashara glanced at his loyal subject, kicking his legs over the arm of his throne.
“Solution.” He returned. “Anything interesting to report?” He took out his sword and examined it, as though he were examining his nails.
The slime quivered a bit, processing information. Or digesting food. Hashara could never tell. “The prisoner has been moved to the guest room, as you requested.”
Hashara sat up excitedly. Was the warrior awake?
Hashara, realizing how he looked, returned to his previous position, trying and failing to look disinterested.
Solution’s mouth quirked upward in an amused smile.
“Well,” Hashara said airily, struggling to keep the excitement from his voice. “I suppose I should go see him, then, make sure everything is set up correctly…”
Solution slid to the side, manifesting a pseudopod with which to gesture towards the door. “Well, I won’t stop you.”
“Right.” Hashara stood up, sheathing his sword. As he made his way to the guest room—which was not very far from his own bedroom, thank the gods—he took the time to think about the young warrior he’d taken prisoner.
“Well, look at this. A strong fighter indeed.” Hashara crooned, practically drooling over the warrior before him.
The warrior said nothing, simply glaring as the chains forced him to kneel.
Hashara aimed the tip of his sword just under the prisoner’s chin. “And does the warrior have a name?”
“Cole.” The warrior spat, and oh, how beautiful he looked! The fire in his eyes, the refusal to back down, even the name was somehow so divinely fitting for a warrior who wielded the power of molten stone.
Hashara had fallen, and he had fallen hard.
Yes, Hashara was very excited to see Cole. To encounter such beauty and grace so soon in this new realm—why, it had to be a sign. The gods themselves were blessing Hashara’s endeavor to conquer this realm—they had to be, if they were gifting him with someone so beautiful and graceful and powerful as Cole.
Yes, Hashara had fallen. He had fallen, and fallen hard—but he was so rarely denied; he was certain he could convince Cole to join him as an equal.
+=+=+=+=+
Cole came to awareness slowly, in bits and pieces.
As he awoke, he took notice of his surroundings—of the very comfortable four poster bed he did not remember falling asleep in, the artificial sunlight streaming in through the window which had woken him up, the ornate vanity to the other side of the room—and slowly remembered that he’d been taken prisoner the day before.
Well, Cole thought as he pushed himself up into a sitting position, I suppose this is meant to be my cell for the time being.
And then Cole noticed his captor, seated in one of the plush armchairs near what Cole surmised was the door. His captor looked to be about Cole’s age, adorned in a style of armor Cole had never seen before.
The sword Cole remembered was tucked away in its sheath at the man’s hip, but Cole still remained on guard.
Though, oddly enough, his captor didn’t look hostile. He was looking at Cole in a way that almost looked… affectionate?
“Good morning,” His captor said softly, a note of fondness to his voice. “Cole.”
Cole shifted awkwardly. “Um. Good morning?”
His captor startled, as if something occurred to him. “Oh! I forgot to introduce myself!” He stood up, making his cape flair dramatically. “I am Emperor Hashara Aeriliai, of the glorious Arrasaw Empire! And you,” He paused, stepping closer to Cole, who had moved to sit at the edge of the bed, “Are the most beautiful warrior I have had the grace of meeting.”
Hashara moved forwards, taking Cole’s hands in his own and pulling the ninja to a standing position. “Would you, Cole Brookestone-Loure of Ninjago, would you join me as a companion, an equal, side by side, conquering all there is to conquer?”
Cole pulled his hands from Hashara’s grasp. “What.”
Hashara froze, caught off guard by Cole’s reaction. “I’m sorry, do you not understand?” He stepped back. “Well, then I shall put it simply: I want you.”
Cole blushed. “Uh, well, I’m flattered by your offer,” He said diplomatically, “But you did kind of take me prisoner.” He stepped back, mindful of the bed. “And I’m not really into conquering? I prefer protecting people.”
Hashara stared at Cole as though Cole was an idiot. “So you’re saying ‘no’?”
Cole laughed awkwardly. “I guess I am…”
Hashara stood there for a moment. “I see.” He said stiffly, his voice trembling.
Cole’s heart plummeted. This was not ending well for him, was it?
“No.” Hashara said, stepping forwards, “I refuse to accept your refusal.” He advanced further, until Cole had been backed into the wall. Closing the distance, Hashara pinned Cole to the wall with his sword, the tip pointed at Cole’s jugular.
“You will accept my proposal, one way or another.” Hashara threatened, forcing Cole’s chin up with the tip of his sword for emphasis.
“Yeah, keep thinking that.” Cole spat, as Hashara sheathed his sword.
Hashara’s face flushed with red. “You—” He scoffed, before angrily turning on his heel to exit the room.
Pausing at the door, Hashara glanced back at Cole for only a moment before leaving.
Cole watched Hashara’s cape swish as he exited. Unease settled in his gut as the door closed.
Ooooh yes I would love to ramble about Hashara being a gay dumbass
So basically there’s this group from another realm trying to conquer Ninjago and the leader is incurably gay for Cole. To elaborate:
So there’s this realm, a pretty interesting little fantasy world, which has recently been unified into one empire. By which I mean the previous three emperors conquered all the lands. And a new emperor has recently been crowned.
However, the current emperor, Hashara, has no patience for all the politics that come along with the unification of the realm—that’s what his wife is for—and would rather be off conquering distant lands. But there are no distant lands left to conquer. Because Hashara’s father, grandfather, and great-grandfather were all selfish pricks hogging the conquering to themselves.
Enter Solution, who is described in my docs as both a “scientific prodigy” and “bombshell blonde sexy scientist lesbian slime.” She figures out a unique solution (pun completely intended) to Hashara’s problem—if there’s no land left in his home realm to conquer, then he should set his sights on other realms.
And of course the first realm Hashara sets his sights on is Ninjago. And of course the ninja are all out on separate missions while Hashara is setting up his forward operating base in the mountains. And of course, Cole’s mission is very near where Hashara is setting up—so before the proper story of this fanseason? contained story? whatever even starts, Cole & Hashara encounter each other. Being recognized as a spinja, Cole is swiftly detained for interrogation.
Seeing Cole’s prowess in battle reawakens something in Hashara’s gay, hot-blooded heart, so Hashara quickly takes to treating Cole like a living trophy, a representation of Ninjago’s strength and beauty that makes conquering it all the more satisfying.
And so the story would start with Cole already held captive by Hashara, and between the conquering and strategy, Hashara spends a lot of his free time pestering Cole to “stand by my side as an equal, conquering all there is to conquer.”
This whole thing is a riot and self-indulgent and I love it
Hashara prepared to enter the battle… only to freeze at the sight of the warrior his men were fighting.
He was—the way he was moving was just—Hashara stared, as the warrior ducked under one of his men’s swords, his leg sweeping out to take down the armoured mook. Stared, as the warrior ducked and twirled and sidestepped every attack, As the warrior used his foes’ strength against them in such a graceful way.
“Sir?” Solution asked, breaking the young emperor from his trance. “Are you going to attack at any point?”
“Right.” Hashara said, drawing his sword. And jumping into the fray.
Testing his opponent’s strength himself was nothing short of wonderful. They danced for a few moments, effortlessly dodging and striking.
Hashara was absolutely smitten.
In the end though, he gained the upper hand, knocking the flat side of his blade against the warrior’s head, knocking them off balance enough for Hashara and his men to subdue the masked warrior.
Standing over his foe, Hashara took a moment to revel in the beauty of the warrior’s eyes. Solution, sensing that the young emperor was practically rendered immobile, moved over to remove the warrior’s mask.
If Hashara was struck by the beauty of the young man’s eyes, then he was absolutely paralyzed by the beauty of his face. Oh, the prose that Hashara could write!
Dark hair messily framed the warrior’s face, which had such a gentle yet fierce look to it.
It was then that Hashara decided. He would have this warrior as a companion, for there were fewer as worthy as the one before him. Yes, he would have this warrior as a partner, and together, nothing could stop them.
