HELLO. Ok so if I want to apply to teachers college for York, do I still need to give 2 references?? do they have to be of teachers and profs?? Even if im applying for junior&primary program for teaching??
All applicants to York’s Faculty of Education programs (either Consecutive or Concurrent) are required to provide two online references when submitting their applications/supplementary information. Doesn’t matter what your planned divisions are, you need to have two references.
I used my old camp director and someone who worked with me during some of my volunteer work as teachers and professors were not exactly the best references for me based on what was in my experience profile.

Hey I don't know if this is pushy or not, but I am applying to BEd (Consecutive) and I was wondering if L or TC could post their personal letters they written when they applied
I mean it’s a personal statement letter for a reason, so it’s not something that anyone would be comfortable posting online for everyone to see. Plus, there are plenty of other personal statment letters that you can look at on Google, it doesn’t specifically have to be L’s and TC’s.

I’m not sure how hard it will be, but I can tell you that it’s competitive to get into Concurrent or Consecutive Education.

It really has a lot to do with how strong your application is compared to the other applicants, as well as the number of applicants.
Education (both Concurrent and Consecutive) is a highly competitive program, and they’ve recently halved the number of people they accept into those programs.

The ECS (not ECE*) program you mentioned at Ryerson is an undergrad degree (BA) yes.

All these education questions got me thinking, I am now thinking of becoming a teacher (in my 3rd year) so does that mean I have to do teachers college (BEd)? If I wanna be a curriculum developer, would I still have to do my BEd? This is all very confusing to me.
Yup, specifically Consecutive Education since you’re in third year.
To be a curriculum developer you would need to have an MEd, which is done after Bachelors. You’d have to do more research to find out what you need in particular for a certain career.

If you’re entering your third year then you should apply for Consecutive not Concurrent. Concurrent applications will open when you’re in fourth year (2017) so you would not be able to study it concurrently as you’ll be finishing undergrad.
