I’m in psychology first year and i’m petitioning to have one of my grades changes to a W (Late withdrawl). It says I need a course performance summary, but then I read that I don’t need it if under circumstances such as being a first year and hardships that caused my grade. So will they understand and not ask for my course performance or deny my request because I don’t have one? (It’s summer how tf am I suppose to get one anyways)
No you HAVE to get a course performance summary completed for late withdrawal, incomplete petitions are rejected if you don’t have everything in order. You should re-submit your petition with the course performance summary attached. Hand in the course performance summary form to the course department, they can usually track down the prof and get it completed.

hello! if i am part time osap in the fall but full time osap in the winter do I have to do 2 applications? I have 6 credits in the fall and 12 credits in the winter. If i do have to do 2 applicatons do I do them at the same time
I would say to fill out the full time one because you are applying for the year and your total course load is 60%, I don’t know how you can split up the terms and then apply.

So I want to apply for 3000 and 4000 level kine courses, however they are all restricted. I am in the process of a program change from psychology into kine. My GPA is over 5.0 which I believe is the benchmark for the kine programs right? How can I get access to taking these courses now before they all get filled up while my program change request is being processed? I checked the change request status and it hasn't been updated since April 20th, and it's still pending
You won’t be able to enroll at the moment, I tried enrolling too by contacting the course department and they told me the courses are open to KINE majors only right now, so non-KINE majors can only enroll after July 14.

How do you know if you have been kicked out of uni for low grades? Do they e/mail you or do they just not let you enroll into courses anymore? Due to various reasons, I did extremely poor this year and I'm scared that I will be kicked out.
York’s policies related to academic standing vary by faculty and program, so I cannot speak to your exact situation without knowing what program you’re in; however, York will not automatically kick you out of the university because of your grades. You would be put on academic warning first, and they would contact you (by mail or email) about it.

when is the $300 due for summer classes? and the full amount? thank you :)
For new students:
A $300 deposit must be paid after you begin enrolling in courses. For example, if you begin enrolling in courses* in June, then your deposit is due on July 15. The tables here: http://sfs.yorku.ca/fees/deposit indicate the registration deposit due dates according to your first date of enrolment into a course.
Summer tuition is due June 10, 2018 (found out from the Registrar’s office) for all students.
You’re most welcome. :)
