To the dozen are so asks I got about Blessed Be by the time I walked up to the shop, I’ve posted a few things for you below this.
In short: it is derived from a specific Wiccan ritual blessing deeply rooted in fertility and gender binary that has filtered out into the general pagan community.
While I am not Wiccan or even pagan at all I may occasional reblog something that is historically pagan or humorous due to being rooted in paganism. I may have slipped from time to time, but as an agnostic secular witch, I try not to reblog posst with spells that include deities or have blatant religious undertones. To do so would not reflect what I want this blog to represent. Also, I don’t want your blessings. if I do, I’ll ask for them.
