Camren Symbolisms
I was watching the new vid of Beautiful and the tráiler of Expectations and again the MV of Consequences and I did noticed a bunch of meanings that I wanted to share.
First of all with the MV of Beautiful. The story is about Romeo and Juliet, the lovers than can't be together (This is a curious part because in the original story the lovers can't be together because of their families in this case, our girls can't be together because of the management and Camila is wearing a mask trying to be undercover and that in the end of the vid, Juliet (Camila) disappears. She's disappears in the same way that Dylan also disappears in the vid of Consequences.
I thought about this like two sides of the coin. If we take in consideration that Dylan and Bazzi represent to Lolo in Camila's life,(Considering that they could be together again) I think that these two videos are telling us a similar story, with different contexts. Consequences is Camila's side of the story and Beautiful would be Lolo's side of the story where is she/he the one that ended up alone. And there's the part of the balcony that made me remember of what happened in the AMA's. Our girls were in the same place, at the same time but separated.
Now, about the trailer of Expectations. I've been reading a lot about the reflection in the mirror that looks like Camila. I know it's not Camila but it has a similarity of her that we can't deny and it's have a meaning. Expectations is Lolo playing to be the devil. I remember a reblog of Lolo in her Tumblr that said: I'm playing the bad one like you wanted baby. I don't know why I have the feeling that Lolo playing the devil it necessary to maintain Camila's angel image. It's what the management are trying to sell us about them. Camila is the good girl and Lolo is the bad girl. And we have two different symbolisms The first one relating to Expectations and Consequences where Lolo/Dylan is a reflection and Camila is another representation. Remember folks, our girls aren't direct to us. They're indirect and symbolics.
The second relation is the mirrors.
The last symbolism in those videos I think are more meaningful. Angels and demons.
The original video of Beautiful has Bazzi as the devil and the girl he loves is an angel. In the Beautiful remix Camila is the angel and Bazzi is dressed in black representing the darkness. And we have Expectations where Lolo is representing the both of them and Angel and a demon. To me, the MV of Consequences, Beautiful and Expectations are related, are telling a story with different symbolisms that have in common two people. Camila and Lolo.
And don’t forget the rings.
It’s curious that I had the idea of Expectations with the original video of Beautiful from the T account. I don’t believe in him or her ( @harmonyshield I really don’t) but this it was his advice.
