Fallout 4 Power Armor Console Code's (Cheat Code's)

Below is a list of console codes for various pieces of power armor. Just enter the code, and amount you want into your console. The items will then appear in your inventory. This will only work on PC versions of, Fallout 4. Unless you have done something special to modify your game console, this will not work on XBOX or Playstation.

To get started you need to be logged into your game.

Next step is to bring up the, developers console. That is done  simply by pressing the tilde key (~). That is the key next to the (1)  key at the top left side of your keyboard. That is if you are using a  standard US keyboard. After doing this you should see a window open at  the bottom of your screen with a blinking cursor.

Type in your desired code, press (Enter)

Close the developer console by pressing the tilde (~) key again.

Power Armor Codes

T-45 Armor:

Power Armor Frame

The process to spawn the power armor frame is different from the  process listed above. You will need to use the (player.placeatme)  command.

Example

To add the T-45 power armor frame, type the following into your console:

player.placeatme 4A9C1

Console Code: Kill All Hostiles

If you're feeling particularly lazy or overwhelmed by enemies while traversing the fields of Skyrim, here's a handy console code.

Open up your console by pressing `, then enter:

killall

press enter, then exist by again pressing `.

This code, as the name suggests, will kill all hostile enemies in your near vicinity. Mass murder with the press of a few buttons.

Console Code: Add Dragon Shout

You know it makes me want to shout...not having all the Shouts that is. With a console code, that's a problem that's easily fixed.

Open your console with the ` key and type in the following:

player.additem addshout <shoutcode>

replacing one of the Dragon Shout codes with the <shoutcode> section.

Now you can make fast and easy use of all those sweet Dragon Shouts I've been showing off. You have Shout envy, don't you? I knew it.

Console Code: Toggle God Mode

There are times when struggle builds character, puts hair on your chest. And then there are times when, fuck that struggle hairy chest bullshit, let me do what I want now. For that, there's God Mode.

Open your console by pressing the ` button in the upper left of your keyboard, and enter:

TGM

Press enter, then exit the console by again pressing `.

This console code will render you invincible, remove your carry weight limit, remove all shout cooldown, and grant unlimited magicka and stamina.

Console Code: Populate Spell Book

Here's a fun console code to try, but consider yourself warned: this command doesn't quite work 100% (yet?), so you may want to back up your game file before trying it.

Open your console with the ` and enter:

psb

Press enter, and exit the console by again pressing `.

This command, Populate Spell Book, will unlock all in-game spells and shouts. As it also unlocks spells used to test the game, it should be used with caution.

As promised, here it is, le grand console code guide. Using console codes can seem pretty intimidating: the thought that you can literally do whatever you want with the game, being given the developer's tools to do so, is a bit mindblowing at first. Bethesda's code transparency is something to be admired, certainly, but there's no reason to be scared of it. There's no better way to make the most of your game than by utilizing the information they've freely given us. 

Console codes are pretty essential for a Bethesda title, anyway: the vast universe entailed in each of their intricately detailed titles lends itself to incredibly buggy gameplay, at times only fixable with console codes. It's for that reason that I never play a Bethesda title on a console. For Elder Scrolls and Fallout, you really want to go PC.

So, how to use them. It's really not as hard as you think. You first have to "open" the console. This creates a black box pop up at the bottom of the screen where you can easily enter the necessary code.

To open the console box, press the tilde button on the upper left hand corner of your keyboard, which consists of ~ and `. Type out the directed code, press enter, and exit the console by once again pressing `.

Most console code directions will tell you everything you need to put into the line of code to make it work. For instance, if you wanted to add an item to your character's inventory, you would enter

player.additem <ref id code> <quantity>

You would first look up the reference id code for the item, say, Glass Arrows, which in Skyrim is 000139BE. Then you decide your quantity, in our case we'll say 200. The line of code would then look like this:

player.additem 000139BE 200

press enter, exit the console with `, and voila, 200 Glass Arrows in your inventory. It's really that simple.

Console Command: Unlock Chests

Some times you feel like tediously picking your way through a difficult lock...other times, not so much. If you want to cut a corner in the lockpicking department, first open up your console by pressing the tilde button ("`") and click on the lock you wish to pick. Then enter:

Unlock

And boom shaka laka, unlocked door/chest/whatever.
