NEW DELHI: The ministry of residence affairs (MHA) on Saturday authorized the conduct of constable (common obligation) examination for Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) in 13 regional languages. That is along with Hindi and English. The historic resolution has been taken on the initiative of Union residence minister Amit Shah to offer impetus to the participation of native youths within the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and encourage regional languages, an official assertion stated. Along with Hindi and English, the query paper might be set in Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Odia, Urdu, Punjabi, Manipuri and Konkani. "In a landmark resolution beneath the management of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, (the) ministry of residence affairs has authorized conducting constable (common obligation) examination for CAPFs in 13 regional languages, along with Hindi and English," an official assertion stated. The CAPFs are the Central Reserve Police Power (CRPF), Border Safety Power (BSF), Central Industrial Safety Power (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and the Nationwide Safety Guard (NSG).
