I was a child soldier of the night, Battling wars no one should have to fight Struggling to keep sanity of mind Fending off demons of every kind But I know now I was not alone….. I was not the only one whose battleground was their home. It’s got me asking, What is wrong with the world? Being so evil that it’s on innocence they prey? How come so many still battle everyday? If I could take every blow, Battle every fight I would do anything, To ease my fellow child soldier’s plight. But all that’s in my power is to say”That you’re not alone” “You can get through this hour”, And keep shining the light In my effort to save them,from their undeserving fight.
