Tom could tell that something was bothering Sig, he just wasn't sure what it was. He would ask her, but she continually gave him vague answers.
"Sig, is everything alright?" He would ask, waiting for a solid minute before she would reply as she stared off into space.
"Hmm? Oh, yes. I'm fine." Then she would continue to stare at nothing often looking out of the window for extended periods of time.
Tom became a little more worried when Sigyn stopped cooking. It wasn't that he couldn't fend for himself, but he knew how much she loved cooking. These days, she would just wave her hand and food would appear, delicious food to be sure, but it didn't have Sigyn's touch. However, Tom suspected that if Sigyn tried to cook right now, the food would be good, but it wouldn't have that touch that just said, "Sigyn made this magnificent feast."
He really began to worry when she stopped knitting. There wasn't the usual sound of needles clicking as Tom sat in the living room with Sigyn as he read his scripts. Now she just sat in the comfy chair and stared out the window. Even Beowulf couldn't pull her out of her melancholic state. He would meow and demand affection from her which she would give, albeit mindlessly, and soon the cat was with her constantly, trying to act as a guardian of sorts. What could Tom do to help when she wouldn't even tell him what was wrong? A few days later, Tom found a possible solution to the problem in the form of an invitation to a premiere.
"Sig, how would you like to come to the premiere with me?"
"…Tom, I'm not so sure about that."
"Why not? You'd love it!"
"What kind of disguise would I need to wear?"
"Oh, well you could just go as yourself."
"…I think I'll just use an invisibility charm if that's alright."
"But, why?"
"It would be easier to handle, don't you think? Besides, if I did go you'd have to constantly explain who I am."
"Wouldn't you rather--"
"Tom, either let me use the invisibility charm or I won't go at all," She said tersely.
"Very well," He said, defeated.
The night of the premiere Tom wore his well-known blue suit that he had worn to the Cannes film festival while Sigyn wore a classic little black dress. She hadn't planned to wear anything special since she would be invisible to everyone except Tom, but he begged her to. When Tom saw her in the dress he was thankful that he had used the puppy eyes on her.
At the premiere, Tom did his usual rounds answering questions for the interviewers and signing autographs and taking pictures with fans. Even Sigyn couldn't help but smile occasionally as he interacted with them. He truly does love his fanatics. She mused smiling. But that smile soon disappeared when she spotted two little boys waiting at the end of the row. It felt like the entire world had slowed down entirely too much as she continued to stare at them. They were relatively young, the older one probably ten while the younger boy looked to be about six or seven. Each boy had flaming red hair that made Sigyn's heart ache in a way she hadn't felt in centuries and hoped that she wouldn't ever have to feel again.
When Tom got to the little boys he smiled brightly at them, squatting so he could be at their level. Sigyn couldn't tear her eyes away as Tom took a picture with the boys wrapping his arms around them as if they were the best of friends. The boys were so happy and thanked him profusely while their mother silently mouthed a grateful "Thank you" to Tom. He smiled and nodded at her while he waved goodbye to the boys. As Tom turned away from the fans to head inside, he saw Sigyn standing there still looking at the boys with unshed tears in her eyes. He had never seen her like this before and moved towards her. Sigyn snapped out of her reverie as she saw Tom approach. In the blink of an eye she was gone and Tom was left standing in a crowd of people looking for the goddess.
All throughout the film, Tom kept sending prayers to Sigyn asking what was wrong, where she had gone, if she was alright, and if he could do anything to help her. He never saw her or got any sign that she was alright which made him panic. He barely paid attention to the film and by the intermission he feigned illness so he could leave early.
The house was empty, save for Beowulf, and this was when the feelings of helplessness truly began to kick in. Tom had no idea what to do, so he just sat on the sofa and waited for Sigyn's return constantly pondering where she could have gone. He probably never would have guessed that she was floating aimlessly somewhere in the Arctic Ocean.
Sigyn stared at the stars as the cold water enveloped her while she tried to numb herself to the core in hopes of forgetting. That's all she wanted really. To forget the feelings of loss, pain and anger that she had suffered so long ago. She was fairly successful in that regard until Tom's prayers seeped through her cold-addled brain and filled her psyche. Why does he care so much? Why does he feel the need to check on me? Damn him. Why did I go to him in the first place? As soon as that thought entered her mind she immediately regretted it. Going to Tom had been one of the best decisions she had made in a long time. He was good for her in so many ways and right now she needed him.
Tom was dozing on the couch when he felt a presence in the house. He sat bolt upright and found an incredibly drenched and shaking Sigyn standing before him. He jumped up from the couch and enveloped her.
"Sig, thank God! Are you alright? Why are you wet? Good God, you're freezing. Come with me," He said taking her gently by the arm and guiding her upstairs to his room as she silently followed. When they were in his room he was about to start taking off her dress before he paused. "Sig, I need to get you warm. Is it alright if I take off your dress for you?" She nodded and he proceeded to unzip her dress.
Once her dress and undergarments were off he threw back the sheet and duvet and then guided her into his bed. She crawled in and curled into the fetal position. Tom quickly threw the covers over her and stripped down to his boxer briefs before crawling into bed with her. "If this makes you uncomfortable please tell me," He said before he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her body right up against his. She still shivered, but she nestled as close as she could to Tom's warmth.
He ran his hands through her hair happy that Sigyn was safe and sound, for the most part anyway. After about twenty minutes, Sigyn finally spoke. "How much do you know about me?"
He thought about this for a moment. "I know that you're the Goddess of Constancy, Loki is your husband and that you had two sons with him, Narvi and Vali, I believe. Loki was punished for something so the gods bound him and a serpent dripped venom on him and you held a chalice to collect the venom until it became full. That's all I really know."
"Hmm," She returned, holding up her hand for Tom to see. She curled her fingers and a small flame appeared in her hand. Tom stared in awe until he saw what appeared to be old burn scars covering her hand. He lightly touched the scars on her hand tracing them almost in a trancelike state.
"Loki and I had been friends since we were children. I think I was drawn to his penchant for mischief and his skills in magic. He taught me magic from a young age and helped me develop my skills. He was mischievous by nature, but as we got older and our innocence died, his mischief was becoming more chaotic. At first, he enjoyed the mischief for the sake of the entertainment, but something in him changed. When he would perform truly disturbing feats I questioned him. He explained that the chaos he created was necessary for keeping the balance in the universe. It made sense in its own twisted way, so I went along with it.
I was betrothed to Theoric, a distinguished soldier for Odin, for political reasons and I accepted my fate. Arranged marriages were common in Asgard. When Loki discovered the betrothal, he snuck into Theoric's room on our wedding day and proceeded to castrate, maim, and hang him by his entrails. Then he disguised himself as Theoric, married me, and consummated the marriage as Theoric's corpse hung over the bed. I didn't discover this until the next morning when my screams alerted everyone of his true fate. I asked Loki why he did it, and he merely smiled and told me that he thrived on the chaos. I truly began to fear him from that day on.
It wasn't long before I was pregnant and had Narvi and Vali." She smiled as she thought about her sons. "They were the most beautiful creatures I had ever seen. Some nights I would go sleep in the nursery just to hear them breathe. I never knew I could love something so much until I had them. They had my heart in their hands from the first day and it felt magnificent.
Even Loki seemed to change for the better when they were born. He loved them so much and I think he was rather pleased that they both had red hair like him. We taught them simple spells when they were very young and as they got older their skills enhanced marvelously. They had such potential and we could have helped them to reach it until Loki killed Baldur.
I should have known, I truly should have, but I thought Loki had changed when the boys were born. I don't know how I missed the signs, but Loki still craved chaos. And what better way to achieve that than to kill the one entity that basically represents order. Baldur was supposed to bring balance to the universe so you can imagine how Loki reacted when he heard that prophecy. He didn't kill Baldur with his own hands, but he did lead him to his death.
Loki lured Baldur to a realm of water and ice, telling him that if he slew the serpent that roamed the seas there then the realm would be his. Naturally, Baldur took the challenge without a second thought. He fought the beast, but the serpent was too much for him and consumed him soon after." Sigyn paused for a moment seeming very deep in thought before she continued.
"Odin was furious. I was terrified to go anywhere near him, but Loki merely laughed. By this point, he was drunk off the chaos and nothing could frighten him. This was when Odin deemed it fit to punish Loki for his crimes against the realm." Her voice became shaky and Tom held her closer rubbing her back for comfort. She took a deep breath before she continued. "He decided that Loki would be bound in a cold, dank place on Midgard where no one would find him except for the gods. Then he explained how he would be bound." She trailed off momentarily. "Loki would be bound with the entrails of his sons while a serpent would drip venom onto his body."
Tom felt his blood run cold as she continued. "Odin turned Narvi into a wolf, devoid of humanity and filled with bloodlust. I can still hear the sound of Vali's flesh being ripped apart as the wolf that had once been my son and his brother killed him. I can still hear the screams. Thor held me back as I fought to try and get to them, but the damage was done. After Vali was destroyed, Odin killed Narvi as well. All I heard was the whine of a beast being slain. Loki was taken to Midgard and bound with the entrails of my sons. I don't remember what happened after that. I think I temporarily lost my mind and blacked out for days.
When I finally came to, Odin offered me the chance to see Loki and I accepted. Before I left, he gave me a large chalice. On Midgard, I found Loki and began to collect the venom. This was the core of my existence for I know not how long. I was his constant companion, but we never spoke to one another. I would hold the chalice until it was filled to the brim and would quickly dispose of it, sometimes spilling the venom on my hands. The burn was the only thing keeping me grounded during my time there.
Over time, I started questioning things. Why was I helping Loki? The man responsible for the deaths of my children. Why should I help him? And in the beginning I kept reminding myself that I am his wife and the goddess of constancy, I had a duty to uphold. But I observed my husband continuously. Not once did I see any remorse for his actions even with the entrails of his sons binding him. The pain of the venom was not a valid excuse for lack of remorse. The venom burned me continuously, but I still thought about Narvi and Vali constantly.
Soon it came to the point where I would 'accidentally' let some venom spill onto him and when I went to empty the chalice, I took as long as possible to dispose of it. I enjoyed hearing him scream and yell in absolute misery as the venom slowly dripped onto his body. He deserved this punishment and I wanted to watch him suffer. I even began to let the chalice fill to the brim and empty the contents all over his naked flesh. The ground shook he was in so much pain, but I merely smiled because I knew the more he made the ground shake, the more venom I would spill onto his flesh.
I don't know how much time passed before I stopped, but I gave in at some point and left him. I set the chalice down and walked away even as he called out to me, begging me to stay. Why, I don't really know. I was inflicting more pain on him than the serpent was. Perhaps he didn't want to be alone. Whatever the case, I had to get away from him. Loki murdered my sons and I had inflicted as much pain on him as I was capable of at the time, my abandonment was the final act of vengeance. That was the last I ever saw of him.
He escaped soon afterwards and went back to Asgard to battle the gods in what was called Ragnarök. Many of the gods died in that battle while those remaining went back to the remains of Asgard to rebuild it. Even after all of that, I wanted nothing to do with Asgard and so I wandered the universe for centuries trying to forget or find solace."
"And have you?" Tom whispered.
Sigyn finally looked Tom in the eye as she shook her head. "No, I haven't," She responded before she began to weep. Tom hugged her tightly, murmuring what he hoped were reassuring words to her as hot tears streamed down her cheeks and onto his chest.
For the rest of the night, Tom comforted Sigyn to the best of is ability telling her about his family, his childhood and anything else he could think of. Sigyn smiled as he told her of his life and was lulled to sleep by the sound of his voice. Tom didn't know what came over him, but when she was asleep he kissed her forehead. It was in that moment that Tom truly began to realize how much he was in love with Sigyn.

Tom had to go on a press tour for one of his films. This one would be taking him to Japan which he was excited about since he hadn't been there before. The only thing he was worried about was leaving Sigyn by herself for the next few weeks.
"Sig, I'm sorry to do this to you."
"Do what?"
"Leave you by yourself for weeks on end."
"…Tom, you do realize that I'm at least a thousand years old, right? I can take care of myself and I was alone in the house for two weeks before you even knew of my existence." She pointed out.
"I realize that, but I still feel bad leaving you by yourself."
"Norns forbid, I go out and explore more of London by myself." She said sarcastically.
He laughed at her teasing. "Fine, I get your point." And that was the last time they discussed his travels.
The morning he had to leave at an ungodly hour, there was a cup of steaming coffee and a piece of coffee cake sitting on the counter for him. He smiled as he drank the coffee and nibbled on the coffee cake on his way to the airport. These are going to be a long three weeks without Sig. He thought sadly. I need to find something for her when I'm in Japan, something that just says "Sigyn."
Ten days had passed since Tom had left and the homesickness was really starting to get to him. He missed the familiarness of his home, the smell of the flowers in the yard, hell he was even missing the cat! But most of all he missed Sigyn. He missed watching her knit, dancing in the kitchen while she cooked and the way her backside looked when she did that and in general really, he even missed her occasional bouts of fangirling. He just missed her.
On the fifteenth day, the cast of the film went to the premiere. By this time, Tom was feeling rather melancholy. He was still incredibly gracious to the fans and tried to speak Japanese when he could, much to the fans' screaming pleasure, but on the inside he just felt really sad.
Tom was mindlessly standing on the red carpet when something or rather someone caught his eye. A rather tall man was looking over at Tom, studying him very carefully. Tom couldn't help but look over at the stranger and just about had a heart attack. He was sure that he had just found Sigyn's male doppelgänger. The man had the same eye and hair color as Sig, and if Tom wasn't mistaken that man had the same look of surprise that Sig usually got when Tom looked at the man. Could it be? The actor had a hunch about something and decided to test it out.
He didn't have to wait long for the tall man to sneak a glance at Tom again before they made eye contact. The tall man had a deer in the headlights look while Tom merely smiled and nodded at the man. Tall Man smiled shyly and returned the nod in kind. This was when Tom winked at him. This resulted in Tall Man blushing and swiftly turning away. Tom's suspicions were confirmed when he got a look at Tall Man's backside. Yep, that was definitely her.
That night when Tom was back in his hotel room he sent a little prayer to the goddess. "It was nice of you to drop by the premiere, Sig," He said with a smile. After that, the rest of the trip went smoothly. He even found the perfect gift for Sigyn.
Heathrow found Tom Hiddleston with a skip in his step as he went through customs and made his way to baggage claim. He was chipper as sin on the taxi ride home to the point where the driver was sorely tempted to turn the radio's volume up to a deafening level just so he wouldn't have to hear the young man go on and on about his "adorable little goddess". Honestly, the pet names these kids came up with. At least it wasn't something filthy, he had to give him that. He couldn't remember the last time he had heard someone use "goddess" as a term of endearment. It certainly had been awhile, and truth be told, it was kind of nice to see someone who was clearly so in love and anxious to get home to see their loved one. If only Tom was fully aware of his own infatuation sometimes.
When Tom walked through the door he saw Sigyn and his sister Emma sitting on the couch watching the television in deep concentration. They didn't even look up when Tom walked in. Tom was a slightly confused until he saw what they were watching: Jurassic Park. The kids had just started eating when Timmy spotted the silhouette of the raptor. Sigyn gasped just when Lex gasped and hugged Emma tightly. Emma gave her a reassuring squeeze. Tom decided to leave his things by the door and quietly sit in the comfy chair to enjoy the film.
When it was over Sigyn slumped over Emma letting out an exhausted sigh. "That.Was.Amazing!!! I thought the raptors had them for sure and then suddenly the T-Rex comes in and destroys them!!!! I can't believe that happened!"
Emma just laughed as she messed with Sigyn's hair. "If I didn't know any better, Sig, I'd have thought you didn't like it."
"Don't ever say that to me again! This movie is amazing! Also, hi, Tom!"
"Tom!" Emma squealed as she jumped up to hug her brother. "How was Japan?"
"Oh it was alright. I saw some very familiar faces while I was there." He said giving Sigyn a sidelong glance that had the goddess blushing. And for the rest of the night the three of them caught up. Emma explained how she met Sigyn when she stopped by to check on Beowulf and found in Emma's words, "A mysterious, pretty woman" playing with Beowulf and baking cookies. Apparently, Emma and Sigyn had become friends almost instantly and Emma decided to take Sigyn all over London with her. Emma knew that Sigyn was a friend and roommate of Tom's, but knew nothing beyond that.
Tom was relieved that Sigyn had found a friend in his sister. It didn't hurt that Emma was very laid back and got along well with just about anyone. Plus, she adored Sigyn and could tell that she had a good effect on Tom too.
After Emma left with a boxes of pocky and gummy treats in tow, Tom gave Sigyn her gift. It was a stuffed plushie owl. Sigyn positively adored the owl and quickly named him Sir Fluffington. It was very entertaining for Tom to watch Sigyn carry around Sir Fluffington wherever she went. When she couldn't hold him she put a levitation charm on him so he could still keep her company when she cooked. Yep, that was the perfect gift for her. Tom mused as he watched her snuggle up with the owl as they watched movies that night.

___________
Sigyn was once again perusing Tumblr, now having acquired an account and running her own blog about random things that included ridiculous amounts of pictures of Beowulf and many a reblogged post pertaining to a certain British person who just happened to be her roommate and friend. If the goddess didn't know any better, she might think she was developing deeper feelings for the actor, but she quickly pushed those thoughts away. No, that's ridiculous. He probably doesn't even see me as anything more than a friend.
So to block out these ridiculous thoughts, Sigyn searched for different tags on Tumblr that didn't pertain to Tom when she came across one that intrigued her. "Hmm, Project Wendy?" She clicked the tag and came upon pictures of Tom with a fake mustache, pictures of fake mustaches and pictures of a man who looked like Tom, but was named Steve apparently. Soon she was engrossed and kept scrolling through the tag.
When she came upon the Twitter pictures of Tom holding the Project Wendy book Sigyn practically jumped over the couch to get to the bookshelf where she would hopefully find the book. After about a minute of perusal she found it. She took it down from the shelf with great care and walked over and sat down in the comfy chair before she opened the sacred book.
Tom had been in his room taking a nap when he heard Sigyn begin to giggle from downstairs. He couldn't help but smile. Hearing her laugh made him get that same wonderful feeling he got whenever he came home and she was always happy to see him. He just couldn't explain why hearing her make sounds of contentment made him happy. As he laid there listening to her, the giggles turned to laughter and soon it turned to outright cackling. Tom couldn't bear it any longer. The actor got out of bed and went down to see what was so amusing to the goddess.
When he got to the living room he saw the Project Wendy book on the coffee table. "Oh no, not again." At this point Sigyn was on the floor cackling madly as she finished watching the bloopers for the Loki'd video. When she saw Tom she beamed.
"Tom! Why didn't you show me this wonderful book from your fanatics? It's glorious!"
"How did you even find out about this?"
"Tumblr."
Damn you, Tumblr!
Now what you have to understand about this whole thing is that Tom loved his Project Wendy book and the people who sent in their pictures and helped to assemble this thing. It was just truly an overwhelming gesture that he was still trying to wrap his head around. And now that Sigyn had gotten ahold of it, he probably wouldn't hear the end of it for months; not that that was a bad thing, but he needed a break from the memes every once and awhile.
"You know, Sigyn, you don't have to keep researching me."
"But it's so much fun!"
He gave an exasperated sigh before turning to go back upstairs. "Tom, Tom, wait!"
"What is it?" He asked with genuine concern.
"P-Please twirl your mustache for me before you go back to bed!" She begged.
"Goodbye, Sigyn." He muttered.
"Oooh hoo-hoo-hoo I'm the bad guy!" She said twirling an imaginary mustache and doing a bad impression of Tom's evil villain voice. Tom couldn't help but smile to himself as he closed the door to his room shutting out her receding giggles.
Sigyn was a little worried that she may have overdone her research a little and had unloaded her feels on Tom a bit too much. So to make up for her blooming fangirl feels she decided to get/make his favorite pudding or puddings as the situation called for. So she twirled and disappeared.
After a few hours, Tom came downstairs to talk to Sigyn about somethings concerning her fangirling habits when he discovered that she wasn't in the living room or kitchen as she usually was. He walked around the house calling out her name becoming slightly worried when he couldn't find her. He truly began to panic when he saw the room to her door open, but no goddess inside, just Beowulf sleeping on her bed.
Tom was on his knees getting ready to pray/call the goddess when she suddenly popped into the living room right in front of Tom. She squeaked when she saw him. "What are you doing?!?!? Y-You need to be upstairs!" She said as she hid a small white box behind her back.
"I-I was going to pray to you when I couldn't find you, but then you came back…Where have you been?" He asked gently.
"Um-Um, nowhere," She responded unconvincingly.
"Really?" He asked clearly not buying it.
"Yes, really." She retorted. "Now I need to go do somethings in the kitchen." And with that she left the room. "By the way, you don't need to get on your knees every time you pray to me."
"Err, right." Tom said feeling slightly befuddled by the whole situation.
Later that evening, Sigyn had completed the second part of the pudding plot. Now she just had to apologize to Tom and offer him the peace offering. She tiptoed into the living room to see Tom reading a script. As much as she didn't like disturbing Tom during his script reading she wanted to make peace.
She cleared her throat before speaking, "Tom, I'm sorry to interrupt, but I need to give you something."
Oh lord, please don't let it be a Wendy mustache. Please, please, please. "No need for an apology, I need a break anyway. What did you want to give me?"
Sigyn shuffled out of the kitchen with a tray levitating behind her. When Tom saw what was on the tray he felt incredibly bad about his last thought. The tray held a piece of what looked to be delectable cheese cake and a cute little dish containing apple crumble and custard. The entire ensemble was just lovely.
"Umm, I felt bad about how I've been bombarding you with my fangirl feels so I thought I'd prepare your favorite puddings as an apology. To be fair though, I didn't make the cheese cake. I had to go to New York for that."
"So that's where you went earlier?"
"Yes."
Tom sat there staring at the tray of deliciousness for a moment. This made Sigyn panic. "Did I forget something? Or were you not in the mood for--" Suddenly, Tom enveloped her in a bear hug that left the goddess breathless.
"I truly don't deserve you, Sig." He said as he squeezed her affectionately. Sigyn was blushing like mad.
"Sig?"
"Oh yeah, it's just a nickname, but if you don't want me to call you that--"
"No, no! I like it."
"Good then. Um, would you like to help me eat the puddings?"
"O-Okay, could I try the cheesecake? I've never had that before."
"Then you truly haven't lived, Sig." He returned smiling as he motioned for her to sit.
If only you knew Tom. If only. But she just smiled and took a bite of the cheesecake while Tom dug into the apple crumble and custard enjoying each other's company and growing closer together.

It had been about two months since Sigyn had moved back into Tom's house. As odd as this might sound, having the goddess living in his house just felt right. This wasn't just because she had a knack for baking and cooking delicious foods that Tom enjoyed or the fact that Beowulf mellowed out tremendously. No, while those were nice attributes to her living there, it was just knowing that Tom had something, or rather someone, to look forward to when coming home. He liked the anticipation of walking in to find Sigyn reclining on the comfy chair with Beowulf in her lap and the way she looked up and smiled when he walked in. She always seemed so happy to see him and that made Tom feel something inside that he couldn't fully describe. Whatever it was, he wanted to keep that feeling.
Sigyn for her part, loved living in Tom's house. She felt a kind of contentment that she hadn't experienced in a very long time. Seeing Tom felt like the sun was shining on a field of flowers to her. His presence made her feel warm and happy. She wasn't sure why he made her feel this way, but she enjoyed the feelings he evoked in her. It was the little things really, like the way Tom would eat small bites of her chocolate cake, or pudding as she was learning to say, so he could savor every little bite. Or the way he fiddled with his hands when he was talking or very deep in thought. She especially loved the way he massaged his thigh when he was really concentrating.
Sometimes, these feelings worried Sigyn. What if I'm becoming too clingy? One thing Sigyn prided herself on a was being an independent individual. While she did enjoy the company and approval of others, she didn't need it…But it was a nice feeling nonetheless, especially when it came from Tom. However, she tried to give him his space so he wouldn't feel too suffocated around her. It was during these times of giving Tom his space that Sigyn would go exploring.
Sometimes she would stay in London and explore the many places the city had to offer, both public and private, meaning that on certain occasions Sigyn would sit in on councils that were very odd to the goddess. These councils would be discussing things that went way over Sigyn's head. Now Sigyn was no fool and understood the point of political manoeuvring and assassinations, but the names of the individuals truly threw her off. So later she would ask Tom about these people and he would explain, albeit in a very confused manner. It would truly disturb Tom when he saw those same names on the news a few days later, apparently suffering from fatal accidents.
Other times, Sigyn would explore different parts of the world. When she needed to think or clear her head she would go to the ocean, and by ocean this meant going so far out into the blue abyss that you wouldn't find human life for quite some time. It was during these times that Sigyn would just float in the water and contemplate many things. Her favorite time to swim in the ocean was during the night when she could stare at the stars for hours. This brought a great deal of peace to her, but sometimes it also made her feel incredibly sad, but for what reason no one really knew.
One task that Sigyn had decided to undertake was learning more about Tom. When they had met for the first time, it was clear that he knew who she was, but she only had an inkling about the life of Tom Hiddleston. So she went to the one place that would hopefully provide answers: the internet. Needless to say she learned a lot, I mean a lot, a lot. Then she hit the jackpot when she discovered Tumblr.
Tom found it incredibly amusing when he came home one day to find the goddess on a top-of-the-line laptop studying something with a great deal of intensity.
"What are you looking at, Sigyn?"
"This unique blog discussing your different hair colors for each role."
"What?!?"
"It's quite fascinating. Tell me, why do you dye your hair so much?"
"U-uh, it's not really my choice. It's the director's decision."
"Hmmm, interesting."
"Sigyn, why are you looking at a blog about my hair?"
"Because I know so little about you and when I first met you, you seemed to know more about me. I didn't think that was fair on my part. Also I find these different blogs about you fascinating. There are many about your hair, voice, hands, eyes, and neck." Tom was relieved that she apparently hadn't discovered the dirtier ones. "Also, are you aware that you wear incredibly tight trousers and shirts in public?"
"Oh bloody hell," he muttered pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Oh yes, apparently your fanatics are quite enraptured by the bulge that your trousers seem to outline prominently at premieres and in public in general. Then there are all the poems about the buttons of your shirts straining under the pressure. They're quite good."
"I'm so glad to hear that," He said sarcastically, but this was lost on Sigyn.
"I'll send you my favorites if you'd like." She said cheerfully.
"That's really not necessary."
"By the way, who is Luke Windsor?"
"Luke? He's my publicist…Why?" He asked with trepidation.
"Well Tumblr seems to be quite fond of seeing Luke Windsor with you when you go to various events and I have to agree, he looks so sweet. Is he your lover?"
"WHAT?!?!?!? NO. HE'S MY PUBLICIST AND MY FRIEND. THAT'S IT!!!!!"
"I see, well some of these wonderful stories on Tumblr seem to enjoy pairing you two together."
Don't ask what she's talking about. Don't do it. You've been so good about staying away from Tumblr. Don't stop now. Tom took a deep breath to calm himself down. "Well I'm glad that the fans are so comfortable writing about the two of us in that way and I'm genuinely flattered that I can help inspire someone to write." He said with the utmost sincerity. "However I think I will pass on reading them."
"Fair enough," She said turning back to her laptop.
He heaved a sigh of relief as he made his way upstairs. "Tom, one more thing."
"Mmmhmm? What are Frost/Pudding, Hiddlesworth, Cuddles and Thorki?"
"Bugger," He muttered. I thought I had eluded those things for good by staying off Tumblr, dammit! "Errrr…It's a long story, Sigyn. Maybe some other time?"
"Yes, of course! Would you like a cup of tea? You look worn out."
"Ahhh, that would be lovely."
"Great, I'll get you some." When she returned with his cup of Earl Grey and a splash of milk a thought occurred to Tom. "Sigyn, how did you know how I take my tea?"
"Well you see, there's this one blog on Tumblr dedicated to your drink preferences--"
"Forget I asked."
"Alright then." She said good-naturedly as she sipped her passion herbal tea, smiling to herself.
