I’ve used bits of #driftwood from Devon and Cornwall in this piece. Specifically #fistralbeach #constantinebeach and #budleighbeach It’s been a big challenge joining all of the different pieces so that it looks (relatively) seamless but I’m happy with the result. I’ve added hair to give him a windswept/just landed in the sea look. The hair was made by sticking individual blades of grass on...I’ve had a big clump of it that I found in Budleigh drying in the garage. He’s currently watching over the #surfers in #Newquay. If anyone wants to see the piece, it will be at the Spanish barn @torreabbey for the Torbay Guild Of Artists Vision of 2020 exhibition. It runs from the 7th -28th Feb. There will be loads of other amazing artists show casing their best bits 👌 #driftwoodart #devon #visitcornwall #gardensculpture (at Fistral Beach) https://www.instagram.com/p/B8N-mSvHrJH/?igshid=1i2rvmsla5gg7
