From metamorphosis meaning "transform, change shape"
Morphstel: A word to describe a steltype which transforms into a kintype after a certain period of time. This stel could have voluntary or involuntary origins.
"The deer is my morphstel."
"I am deermorphstel."
It could be that you never realised the true level of your identification with that stel, or that something has changed in you over time that makes that stel hold a different place in your identity.
You may feel more comfortable calling your type a kintype or a morphstel - it is up to you.
I don't choose to make stels into morphstels, they just happen, which is why I think there needed to be a term that didn't imply a conscious effort like linking.
An individual who has morphstels can be known as Morphstelic.
