outofmagic. Glad i'm not the only one--thanks for the xKit tip! I'll consider it in the near future. Like I said, I'm not sure how I feel yet. It could potentially help me find new people to interact with but at the same time, my dash is busy as it is and who knows what Tumblr's going to recommend. I'll wait it out and see.  Thanks for the input, guys!

[ I talk like your friends then. I was born in Canada but lived in Egypt until I turned six so yeah. But yes, it’s wonderful meeting fellow arabs! (also I should do that program one summer) ]

[ I feel like I should mention the program integrates teaching Quranic arabic and idk if you're muslim and would be interested? Another alternative to intensive programs is just taking classes at a local college if they offer it. ^_^ I have a few Palestinian friends who grew up not speaking Arabic so they're talking courses in it now. They're doing awesome. At least you can speak it though, so you're at an advantage. ]
