Consumer Behavior and analysis
Before taking the course in Consumer Behavior and Analysis I was to my understanding it would involve more analytics and tracking information in regards to the consumer path to purchase. However, now that I have nearly completed this course I am now able to understand how and why consumers chose their path to purchase which. By looking further into consumer behavior, there is so much to consider. The tracking is just one part of the equation, but knowing why is the other. In addition, I was able to gain more understanding and knowledge of the importance of ethics in regards to letting people know there if there are cookies installed on a website or mobile app. Throughout class discussions, it became known that people tend to be less skeptical of the Internet when they are simply informed about how their information is being tracked and how it is being used, which is a good practice both morally and ethically. In wrapping up the course the information and assignments regarding cultural segmenting to and how to provide a good user experience, such as creating multilingual content on a website or promotional materials. As well as mobile marketing and the tactics that should be implemented according to the type of products or services a company is offering. By taking the information learned in this course about how consumers interact with content and where they interact with content provides advanced understanding of consumer behavior to build upon the foundation of Internet Marketing.
