Our whole life is about having the newest and coolest stuff, being sucessfull at work and fullfill our desires. There’s a overflow of advertising, supply and all that stuff. But we don’t mind, we buy and buy and get depressed because we never get enough and have so much stress caused of working too hard and too much. Sometimes when you buy something, you get an extra present. When you just walk through a mall, they ask you if they may give you a little something. Even at McDonalds you get some extra toys which mostly arent even cool, usefull or funny. Have you ever said “No, thank you.”? Well, I haven’t. It’s free so why not? But there’s one extra gift, millions of people ignore. That one special gift isn’t a tinny crappy thing. It’s the greatest gift in the world. It doesnt sparkle or bling, but it offers you forgiveness. It wont help you to hide how old you are, but it gives you infinity. And it also wont help you to get a new boyfriend, but it will fill your heart with endless love. This gift is god. Jesus died for us, our sin is forgiven. The only thing we have to do to wash away all the sin of yesterday is to believe , believe that there’s a savior, a healer, a father who loves us just the way we are. So why should we ignore this present? Why shoudnt we at least try it so we can say well I had that present but it wasnt what I#ve expected? If you just close your eyes and send a little prayer, god will be indiscribable happy. He will hear your prayer and help you. So please, go and have a look, try, open your present. You won’t wish to change it.
