“I thought you loved me…”
“I thought so too. It seems sadly that I might be wrong.” Molly said looking down at the floor.

// Hi friends! I’m really sorry for being slow on replies, been quite busy with all the Easter jazz. I’ll be getting to them tomorrow instead because I’m not feeling all that great atm, I think it was something I ate during dinner just now. I’ll be on mobile tonight, so if you’d like a simple thread, either hmu via email or ask! :) (Also this is the cue for anyone to drop me starters for threads!!!)

[text: Sherl] Sherlock, love, darling, love of my life, I really doubt that the Phantom is in the bedroom. [text: Sherl] I think it might be time that you did get some sleep and since you’re in the bedroom. Go to bed, love.

“Oh, god." That was it. Sherlock officially hated Summer, and anything to do with it. He was hotter than he would like to have admitted, and the fan in the room was definitely not helping as much as it promised. He ran a hand through his hair, having tried to distract himself with old cases on the laptop but the heat eventually got enough for him, and he went towards Janine, noting with a rather apologetic thought that she didn’t seem all too well with the heat, either. He pressed his lips together tightly, before tilting his head. “Does icecream sound nice to you? Think John brought some when he visited.”
Summer was awful. There was no doubt about it. When Janine really thought about it, perhaps it all wasn’t so bad, but weather like this was. When it was so hot that nothing seemed to work in cooling her down. It felt just like that now and she was utterly and entirely over it.
Stripped down to the bare necessities in case someone came over, she was attempting to focus on anything that was not the heat which felt like it was leaching in through her pores. Baking was not an option, not wanting to hurt on the open to heat the room up more than it already was.
Ice cream.
Janine’s mind was feeling fuzzy, but she was able focus on those two words above all else in that moment. Ice cream.
“Oh god, yes.”
Rising to her feet, she padded her way to the kitchen, letting out a sound as cool air rushed over her when the freezer was opened.
“Why didn’t you say we had ice cream before?”

Sherlock had never been interested in stars, nor how bright they shined at first. It was all something to do with space, something he honestly didn’t care about. Experiments first, and maybe then he would have a look. That was his first thought about the stars, but when he couldn’t help but look when it was clearly not going to go away, he peeked through the window and looked up, standing completely still for a few moments until he figured it wouldn’t particularly hurt if he went to Janine and let her look. “Janine?” He stood, rushing towards the bedroom they shared, and poked his head into the room, before speaking. “Look. I mean, come look. At the stars.” He paused, before looking towards the window again. “With me.”
Curled up under the blankets of their cozy bed, Janine was content while reading a novel before going to sleep. It was a kind that she was sure Sherlock would not like, entirely trashy and a very soppy romance that he would most likely cringe at. She never made him read them though, never even told him about them as she was sure she knew what his reaction would be.
When he came into the bedroom, she was admittedly shocked by his request, unsure of where the idea had even come from. She could not refuse him though, seeing the way that he was looking out towards the window and balcony beyond. Nodding her head in silent assent, she slipped out of bed where she immediately headed to pick up her dressing gown and slide her slippers on.
“Why the sudden want to look at stars, Sherl?”
She asked the question softly, walking to his side, her own hand moving to take a gentle hold of his. She smiled as she gazed up to him, wondering what just was the idea that he had gotten into his mind about it all.
“On the balcony or did you want to go out into the back?”
