"Mir reichts", erklärte er, und mit jeder Sekunde wuchs nur seine Entschlossenheit. "Ich will damit nichts zu tun haben, deswegen wirst du mich jetzt nach Hause bringen, und dann wars das." Für einen Augenblick rechnete er mit Widerstand, doch dann nickte Skinny nur mit verkniffener Miene.

it’s amazing the amount of hate and harassment I’ve received for saying people should maybe pause and do their due diligence before condemning a play written and directed by two black men, both well-known for their substantial list of explicitly antiracist, pro-social-justice, and intersectional plays—a play which was awarded both the Rosa Parks Playwriting Award and the Lorraine Hansberry Playwriting Award (if you know anything about these awards, you know they are not the kinds of awards a Green Book: The Musical! could ever win) among other nominations for its treatment of generational trauma and colorblindness.
