We border one-another,

Imaginary lines pressed together,

On maps and atlases,

Overhead, top down viewings,

Of us, 

Bordering one-another.

Foreign fields of skin,

Green, slurred lines,

Territory lost,

Blurred borders,

Of us,

Brand new states.
