Happy Easter & April Fool’s Day!  This 1955 Ford Crown Vic is certainly a combination of the 2.  The purple & white paint combo is very Easter-like, while that gaudy continental kit on the rear end is all April Fool’s.  I hate those things.  (On a side note, check out that massive air cleaner!)

For a time in the 1960s and ‘70s luxury meant length in the auto world and there’s probably no finer example than Lincoln’s Continental Mark V.

This was the best-selling Mark series Lincoln at more than 228,000 units and was the longest two-door coupe ever sold by Ford at 230 inches long. Think modern day Chevy Suburban in length. (more…)

One thing you can say about these Old Mercurys, they did not skimp on the chrome!  Great colors on this '56 Monterey, and don't you think so?  But why am I not showing any kind of rear view?  Because it has one of those crummy continental kits on it.  I hate those things...

This '58 Edsel Citation is a black and white beauty.....EXCEPT....I despise continental kits.  They add nothing but length and bulk to a vehicle, and throw the proportions way out of whack.  Still, what a car, and what a car!
