Continuing the liveblog of this project....
Currently I'm playing with autoconf and automake after reading through the paper. Skeltrack is yet another library that doesn't have build/install instructions that work out of the box. running autoconf and automake generates a whole lot of errors for the two programs (mostly bad syntax or missing macro definitions). Woo.
After all of this time...
I got my simple kinect test to compile while including OpenNI. Now let's see if I can use OpenNI to do things. Blogs help me not be impatient while the extremely verbose debug output finishes dumping.
