Just some notes for my Gender and Sexuality class. Still trying to find the format that works best for me as far organizing my notes goes. I do my notes three times (continuous studying), which allows me to not stress during mid terms and finals. In fact, I have yet to study like most studyblrs do because of my initial commitment.
1. I take notes by hand in class. I write everything down.
2. I type the notes on my laptop. This is where I begin to determine if I need certain notes or not. If I already knew something I leave it out, unless there is an expansion of that knowledge in the notes. I also reorganize my notes in the order I find most effective for learning information.
3. Because my notes are already on my laptop in the exact order I want with all information necessary, I write my notes verbatim, onto card stock. This is where I decorate and color my notes. I usually do it in rainbow order, because it is the most appealing to my eye. I make sure to spend a lot of time on this last set of notes.
4. Review as necessary.
Sometime, I will show the process, along with all the materials I use.
Bonus Fact: I am left handed, and just started using left-handed supplies. So exciting! It only took me 20 years.
