Another random post, this is the LettuceK im gonna write about if Control Duo is chosen <3

sooo... wemmbu and lettuce foils? has anybody in the greater fandom considered this?

it makes sense because they both have pasts with civilizations-- negative. pasts with civilizations. both being pushed aside due to the leader's selfish desire.

but while wemmbu came out of them angry, vengeful, and striving for power she knew unattainable-- lettuce waited. he built up slowly. and instead of hurting those because he was hurt, he helped innocents. innocents just like he was.

while that already makes them good foils for each other, it goes deeper. we know wemmbu's going on her redemption arc right now, and she's turning away from the path of violence-- while lettuce is straying more towards that path. he's becoming corrupted, actively doing things to get people out of his way. just like wemmbu had at the start of power arc, and even before that.

and while they foil each other, i would like to see a conversation between them. something dramatic that could make lettuce realize that what he's doing is wrong-- that if wemmbu of all people could make the effort to change, then who's to say others cant?

no but actually something with the way Lettuce and wemmbu are obsessed with control. remember in sky civ lettuce's book about wanting to take control of his own destiny and become more than just a side character? remember how lettuce tries so hard to manipulate the people in his favor and keep wemmbu under his thumb?

but also. remember how wemmbu kept losing over and over because zam controlled him and tried to manipulate him and toy with him? remember how parrot similarly tried to manipulate him into trapping himself and revealing his identity? you know how wemmbu wants to become the strongest so she'll be left alone, in CONTROL of her own body and actions?

I suggest control duo or something along those lines. how do you do ship names because I can't just call them 'control' and 'control ship' is just stupid.

wait control duo is soosososos fire actually. totalitarianism vs agency over one's self.

also, for a shipname, i was totally more thinking of something like how some duo names are formatted without the 'duo' at the end (ex winterglasses [i think. ?? ☝️ for red and woogie] and [golden] laurels [for wemmbu and minute]) and they kind of morph into that duo's ship name?? idk. thats why i threw out so many ideas. enough to make a cool duo name but also a cool ship name without using their names (literally hoa are we supposed to come up with something cool and aura with the names and letters of LETTUCE and WEMMBU??? most complicated letters and sounds in the most inconvenient places EVER)
