"…I suppose I don’t really know.." this was Rin’s ‘father,’ was it not? You lost your father to death as well. Perhaps this was a case of similarly losing a guardian before they were ready..only, Rin’s guardian was surely much better than her’s..

"Don't know, eh?" He lets out a small chuckle as his ghostly figure takes a seat on the head of his own gravestone, crossing one leg over the other. The grin never leaves his face. "Either or, it's nice to have some company every now and then." Fujimoto then raises a brow in her direction, "However, I'm curious how you can communicate with me. Funny, since those who visit normally can't hear me. Not that they visit often anyway."

[Held down and forced to watch Amaimon be beaten?] {Part 2} She then eyes the ones who are beating Amaimon--one has begun to run away now. A quick gathering of flames in her throat is spit out at him, reducing him to nothing. The remaining beaters are grabbed in her claws, and dragged against the nearest wall. Their blood paints it a beautiful shade of red. It takes her a few seconds to calm down, and she switches back to the more human form, though she is curled in a ball. She has no clothes--

[Held down and forced to watch Amaimon be beaten?] {Part 1} This action is enough to elicit such rage in her, that she finally rips out the tag on her ear, not wanting to risk a possible death from what she plans to do. Once it's off, she switches to straight into her true demonic form, burning the two people who hold her down in the process. One of these people are crushed by her large paw, and the other is bitten in half.

[locked away, considered crazy?] Really, unless some drastic thing had occurred without her knowing, Amaimon wasn't crazy like they were claiming he was. Of course she would get in there in order to speak with him--and later possibly devise a plan to help him escape, since they wouldn't let him out on normal circumstances.

Of course, Amaimon wasn’t crazy (at least not the kind to be locked up for it). But here in the human world, someone with his personality would most likely be considered insane - according to human standards.

He had caused quite a bit of trouble at the local supermarket, causing himself to get arrested and then put in the crazy-house, straight jacket and all.

When he was told he had a visitor, he was a little relieved; maybe someone had come to get him out? It was surprising, and a little embarrassing, that he couldn’t do it himself, but a little help would be just what he needed.

"Hm..well, it seems you're 'up and about.' ..How have things been, Faust? Surely what's going on in your life is more interesting in the daily routine of a 'student,' no?"

Well then, wasn’t this a most unexpected surprise. She even went as far as preforming a stale but notable attempt to appear proper. Hah! It seems the little cretin could be taught a thing or two after all. “Student implies that you were properly enrolled here, a matter I’ve yet to allow.” The emphasis on the word was dully noted.

While trapped would be the right word to use in this situation, it didn’t quiet grasp the predicament she was in. Captive? Imprisoned? No, not exactly. She did after all, have a choice. And there were certainly no bars that kept her here. At least non that could be seen. “If you must know, everything is just fine and to my liking~” Including the tea that had mysteriously appeared in his office only moments before his arrival. Though the mystery wasn’t all that difficult to unravel. The ‘who’  being easy enough. It was simply the ‘how’ that piqued Mephisto’s curiosity. Who knew the little blossom had such a way on her feet! But enough about that— “Pleasantries aside, my well being mustn’t be the only reason for your stopping by. Now what is it that you need, Miss Sakamoto?”
